everyone's been thinking it for years, so now someone is saying it: let's drive david russell from blodgett.

some of david's accomplishments:
- he built a gaudy castle with some tennis courts and a duck puddle
- there's a railcar involved
- he added about a hundred unnecessary bulbs to blodgett's already intense light pollution (they blind you as you enter the town from the north)
- he followed up clyde's with a shoddy, overpriced sandwich shop and poorly stocked vending machines
- his recent construction beside the post office is bound to push the water puddle even further into the street
- a fountain that changes colors is involved
- white fences everywhere
- access to either rob or david's house (or the recreational buildings) is in a bad spot for people to stop in the middle of the road - which they often do, often turning into rob's driveway - and it creates a hazard and a nuisance.

if we run him out, i'm thinking we could just bulldoze the sandwich shop and think about some type of community pool, or skate park, or anything besides that awful sight he put there.

and we can all save a brick from the half-mansion when that gets dozed, too. i can barely remember what it looked like to enter blodgett before he put his ugly circus show in the middle of our town.

some of you might be saying...

"but he puts on a firework show every year!"

"he has built churches and helped us to worship!"

"he improved the old playground!"

"he turned the house east of the playground into a dollhouse with excessive lighting and fencing!"

"but those hair plugs look FABULOUS!"

i don't care. he has to go. we have to remove all of his lights.

maybe after we demolish his manor we'll have enough bricks to build up a blodgett exit, fix up a gas station, and get some real use out of construction... instead of a perpetual eyesore.

anyone agree?

just because some one had a hard life then made some money doesn't mean a thing, this man is pushy and has a GOD complex, he has bought houses from people that were in dire need of help , and he took advantage of them, there use to be a time when we had deason's grocery plus a gas station , but what has happen to them in the past 20 years , Russell bought them both and knocked them down , so if you live in Blodgett u ether drive to Benton or Sikeston to get any thing , because you sure can afford what Margaret charges for things in her little shack.

Cares? All that man cares about is raising the property value that surrounds "The Ruseel Castle". It's all about outward looks. He even has you buying into it. "Look what the great man has done!" You do not live here or understand the backs and souls he has cheated and stomped on to acquire his own village show place so people like you can inflate and encourage his Godhood.

David Rusell is ultimately responsible for the death of one of my loved ones. He worked for Tank Tech and died from lung complications from working inside some tanks. David didn't care. I hope he rots in hell.

Incase you didn't know, there are things called PPEs that are required to be on EVERY work trailer on EVERY job site. This is OSHA required that the company provide these for their employees. If he chose not to wear the provided equipment, that's not the company's fault! That was a bad personal choice! That's like a smoker filing a wrongful death suit against a cigarette company! Get your facts straight before you lay blame.
