Obviously you are not a follower of Yeshua, your JEWISH MESSIAH, but are of the rabinical persuasion, choosing to follow the writtings of rabbis rather than the word of God. Read Isaiah 53 for starters! If you had believe Moses you would have believed Yeshua because Moses wrote of Him. The TNK is all about Yeshua, from Genisis 1:1 all the way through Malachi. Pray that G-d will remove the scales from your eyes so that you can see that the Messiah came 2000 years ago, and will soon return again.

Ab is father and Abba is Father above fathers. You must know Hebrew to understand what is really being said. The A is leader , strength, protector, Ox head, to plow . The B is a tent floor plan meaning home, tabernacle, tent. Man is single portion Father and YHWH is double portion Father. We call Abraham father. See? He should say the English translations are not good enough, he should say that Hebrew and Greek is better for understanding and the Holy Spirit or Ruach HaKodesh is the guide to direct us to really understanding the scriptures and not what we have been taught here in America. For all these years. We did not know, we all follow traditions of men from long ago and commentaries instead if the real truth.

I've been to Adat Adonai on several occasions. For you out of towners who wish they could attend, I'd say you're better off just watching the TV show. Rabbi Schneider's expository teaching is superb, but that's not really what you get at a typical service. You are handed a flag or tambourine for the conga line around the church. The music is sort of improvised, very repetitive, and not of the best quality. Then there's the dance group which does Jewish looking dances in the obligatory minor key. I was disappointed in the small role preaching had in the service. Rabbi even said that if you were looking for expository preaching, watch his TV show. Services go on forever and congregants are all supposed to yield to the Spirit. I could only take it for so long and was confronted by a door watcher when I left early.

I would like to say regarding those that don't believe you:
A person with an argument is ALWAYS at the mercy of a person with AN EXPERIENCE! I, sir, believe you. You sound intelligent, scripturally sound and we are to test all spirits. Shake the dust off of your shoes my friend, they did you a favor and just so you know, my Pastor ALWAYS tells us, "Don't just take for granted everything I or others tell you SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES!" Anyone that gets defensive when you want to obey scriptures well let just say its suspect. God Speed my brother

I ran across this posting doing a general internet search for "Messianic Monroe, MI." After reading a few of the comments that have been posted in regard to Mr. Schneider, Adat Adoni, and Discovering the Jewish Jesus, I was compelled to respond... at least briefly.
"Paul" and "Ray" both expressed interest in why a previous poster would refer to Kirt as a Fraud. I can speak on this matter first hand, Mr. Schneider had one of "his elders," at the time, ask me to leave and never come back. This was after Kirt and I had a meeting with another one of the elders present, I'm guessing as a witness. In this meeting Kirt told me: "if you want to have any part in the ministry of Adat Adonai you will have to fall under my vision, and not question anything I say or do." I responded to Kirt by saying: "Kirt, I will always question everything you say or do to know that it is in line with Scripture." His immediate response to this, and this is a direct quote: "This meeting is over, Get OUT OF MY OFFICE, I LOOSE YOU TO SATAN!"
I left and was like, what was that all about...
The following Shabbat I was asked to leave by one of the elders with tears in his eyes.
This was my personal experience with Kirt and his wish to be a cult leader. He later stole the TV program everyone has come to love from Adat Adonai and the Founder of "Discovering the Jewish Jesus."
The TV program was created as a blessings for the congregation Adat Adonai, but has been taken away from them and now only "blesses" Kirt and his family.
I know of many other teachers that have some great outreach ministries, they say the right things while the cameras are on, but behind the scenes often times it is a completely different story.
Kirt may be a "teacher" which in Hebrew is "Morah."
He wishes these days to be call "Rabbi," which means "Master/Great one."
I have one Master, one Great One, Y'shua the Messiah.
Be very careful of any dealings you have with Mr. Schneider, and I do not recommend supporting him or his various forms of lying,(eg. Discovering the Jewish Jesus, Adat Adonai, and Shalom Ministries).

After reading all these posts, I am somewhat confused. First, I enjoy Rabbi Schneider's teaching on TV when I get the chance, and I have a couple of his teachings on CD which I throughly enjoy. His study of Romans is the absolute best I have ever heard, and his teaching on the end of the age is delightfully refreshing in it's honesty. There are few ministers who are willing to go against the flow and teach what the Bible actually says about the coming Tribulation, and Kirt is one of those few. On the other hand, the warnings some have posted about the actualservices in the congregation of Adat Adonai is also something to be considered, and if what these folks say is true, then I certainly would steer clear of it, and it alsogives me second thoughts about his teaching on TV and in his CD/DVD sales. Some serious and prayerful consideration is in order for me befoire I purchase any other of his teachings. Far be it from me to support someone who is only out to fleece the flock like 99% of those on TV are all about!

That being said, I do sense that some comments are from Rabinical Jews who do not believe in Yeshua and are out to destroy the ministery of jewish man who has had the scales removed from his eyes.
Those folks need to read the Tanak and see the truth, that Yeshua is indeed their Jewish Messiah, that He did indeed come 2,000 years ago, and that He is soon returning for His church. The day is coming when they (the Jewish people) will look upon Him and weep and mourn as their eyes are opened to the fact that they denied their Jewish Messiah and have paid the price for these 2000 years.

Hello... I was raised originally as a Roman Catholic and became a follower of Jesus/Yeshua during the years between 1970 to 1974.
As a RC, I had never even held a Bible in my hands. That all changed in 1968 as I began my search of the scriptures. After these many years I can say that very few teachers actually teach the Word of God. We have many traditions and customs that have been taught as "truth" but are actually "part" truths or outright fraud.
Since my conversison to following Jesus, I have had to sort through many teachings of Christianity-so called. I have been teaching Bible (or teaching Jesus I prefer to say) for many years now and the Lord has blessed me in doing so. I seek no post or position. Paul said seek "Jesus Christ and him crrucified". Jesus is the great I am, the Alpha and Omega-the beginning and the end. I and my Father are one! Read the Word!
I very much enjoy Pastor Kurts teachings... he is one of the very few that bring the truth of the scripture and Jesus to life on national or international TV & radio. As a man Is he perfect... probably not, but he points the way to the One who is.
Read the word, seek the Spirit of the Lord Jesus (Yeshua), confess your sins, be baptised in His name then follow Him.

I attended Adat Adonai for about a year before I had to leave. There are two sides to K. Schneider - the teacher that people talk about loving the teaching and then there's the"leader", the personal man. The teaching was fairly good which is what kept me there for the time I attended, but once we started to become involved with the church and the interworkings and how leadership operated, I had to leave to protect those with me from a very paranoid, insecure, and control crazy Mr Schneider. Be careful and if you are enjoying the teachings, keep your distance and don't get involved or too close because once you do, a positive can become a negative very fast. The person who posted the comment about being kicked out for questioning him is correct. Those who defend Mr S. are observing at a distance and don't know the man or are one of his pathetically dim witted followers who willingly lap up his crumbs, and trust me the members of the congregation who have been there awhile, well let's just say that it becomes clear why they put up with the nonsense once you get to know them. Be so warned.

He was not telling people to not to read their bible. This is how you seek the Lord and let the Lord reveal who he is to you. Many of us read the bible and form understandings of what we read wrong because of our own understanding gets in the way. I have been going to ADAT ADONAI (I also go to a church too) since before Rabbi Schneider became the Rabbi there and I know he is true to his relationship with the Lord and the call The Lord has on his life. He has done a great job leading people closer to the Lord. Iím sure if you ask the Lord to give you more understanding on these things that donít agree with you. The Lord will let you know. This kind of questioning is what the Lord does to prompt us to seek him. I hope this helps, may the Lord bless you.<quoted text>

I have been going through the Bible with the 1 year reading program (for more than 1 year now:)... but at any rate I read from the Hebrew Bible and New Testament, Psalms and Proverbs in the daily readings. His show has helped explain quite a bit how the writings relate. I have a doctoral degree myself and believe he is doing a fine job in his expository teachings. Maybe at one time he did insult someone, or maybe his in person interaction is too harsh I have no idea. But as a Christian, I believe it is written that you should be quick to forgive wrongdoings and see people in the best light. This is what I pray God does for me and others. The opposite is to pick out the worst of a person and amplify it as much as possible. This is the work of Satan, figuratively or literally depending on your beliefs. One thing is clear, after watching his show for years, he is doing God's work. You'd be better off to forgive him for any interaction that went awry, really for your own sake. And then go about finding out what God has called you to do if you already haven't, and do that.

I just saw this "guy" on TV for the first time. Before I get to my point I need to give a bit of personal history. I was born Jewish. My family was pretty much non-practicing,(I didn't go to Hebrew school and wasn't bat-mitzvahed) except we did celebrate the major holidays. In my early 20's I read a small book (or large pamphlet) about Jesus and had an epiphany. Shortly after that, by some miracle, people came knocking at my parents door on a rare day when I happened to be there. My mother said she wasn't interested but I chased them down the street and ended up joining their bible study group, went to their temple and became a believer that Jesus was the messiah. The people of this particular congregation called themselves Hebrew Christians, although I came to find out as time passed that there were few if any natural Jews there except those that married non-Jews. Anyway, I was days away from being baptized when something made me back out. I left the group, had no contact again and abandoned my new-found religious beliefs. But, I NEVER TOTALLY LET GO. Maybe Jesus actually wants me? Occasionally I look for Jews for Jesus info hoping to find one near me to see if I could rekindle those wonderful feelings I had when I was a believer. So now for my point. My gut instinct after watching his show only one time is that this man is a charlatan and I will tell you why...because he was never a Rabbi. He just decided he'd call himself that. When and IF I ever find a group where a real Jewish Rabbi became a Jew for Jesus and led a congregation with more than a handful of people who were born Jews, I would happily join it.

I think, you can find at least one Messianic congregation within driving distance from you. The Mesaniac movement has grown by leaps and bounds since the first one in America formed in Cincinnati, probably in the 1960's. I know the son of the founder of Beth Messiah in Cincinnati has a congregation in Philladelphia. His name is David Chernoff. If you listen to Messiance music, his brother Joel Chernoff is popular. If you do an online search, looking for Messianic congregations in or nearyour city, you should find a few. Rabbi Schneider is good. I love to hear him, but it is always better to be a part of a group, a family of believers. I have attended Beth Messiah in Cincinnati in the past, but it is a long drive from my home, so I needed to find a church closer to my home. If you are feeling in your gut the need to find a group, Adonai is burdening you to do so, and that is what you need to do. When He calls, we need to answer. If you cannot find a Jewish Messianic synagogue, there are some churches today that are discovering the Hebrew roost of their faith. Be sure they support Israel and not palistinians causes and they do not support other things that G-d calls abomination. Too many churches today are not following the Scriptures. One must be very careful of what is being taught there, even some Messianic Jewish congregations are not staying true to His Word. Shalom!

I learned/taught in an Orthodox yeshiva for many years - I'm a learned Jew. While I don't mind if he proclaims Jesus as his messiah - he can believe whatever he wants - I must say that pretty much everything I've heard or seen Kirt do on video is false. I mean, really false. If he were to dress or act the way he does in a real synagogue, he'd be thrown out on his ear. I actually ache for him when I see him blunder on video.

He's embarrassing himself in public and I pity him.

We Jews find him embarrassing - again, not because of his beliefs, but rather because he doesn't know what he's doing. I mean, he REALLY doesn't know what he's doing.

He has no Jewish education whatsoever.

It's sad that Christians are unable to tell that he is a totally uneducated Jew.

Actually, Av means father in Hebrew while Abba means father in Aramaic.
