52 acres protected in Fairhaven

The Coalition for Buzzards Bay and the town of Fairhaven have permanently protected 52 acres of forest land comprising a significant portion of the inland watershed to the Nasketucket River, Austin Pond, and downstream Little and Nasketucket bays.

This land can be used for commercial wind turbines!Under the" Wind Energy Siting Reform Act " in the legislature right now allows the state to take conservation land,wetlands,any open space,state parks and/or water protection land and lease it out to commercial wind turbine investors.
