Having lived in Rockland for years I never realized what amazing stores and services we had in the county. Recently, I found the cutest mini mall - The Blauvelt Mini Mall on Erie Street East in Blauvelt. Apparently it has been there over 5 yrs and I never knew about it. As I drove in I saw that there was a smething going on at one of the businesses and walked over to get a better look. There was a crowd of people in this one business. I looked through the windows, but the beautiful bamboo shades masked the incredible world I was about to walk in to, Melange Med Spa. From the moment you walk in you feel like your in another world, its private, yet ultra inviting, warm and inspiring. The look of this spa is breath taking. EVerywhere you look there is something different and interesting. Not your typial spa...ecclectic, european, asian, midwest..it has a flair that even the most clever interior designer would have difficulty blending all of the different styles and themes, but everything here flows so beautifully. Fro the smell when you walk in, to the staff, the decor, to the wide array of services, I have a found a NYC caliber spa right in blauvelt. The owner apparantly has quite a reputatio for doing lip augmentation and there was a wait to see her, I did however get to see on o the customer after having ha filler put in her lips and she was eccstatic and said she barely felt a thing. I could see how you could be very at ease there. The manager-Jill spoke with me briefly regarding services I wanted and she made me feel so comfortable and educated. Their approach and knowledge is comforting. Long story short I have made an appointment to have my lips done with Chris-(the nurse who is known for lips) and with Jill for another facial. This is a hidden gem in rockland and one that I had to share with others because its so amazing.
