I'm sorry for the loss of such young people but these people become victims of the lifestyle they choose to live. Run with wolves, die with wolves.

Greetings, My name is Bertha Wilson from Ganado Arizona. I would like for you to get the facts straight on the name of the deceased. Henderson is alive and well and was not involved in the incident. He is my son-in-law. His brother Hendrick Frank is the victim and was killed. Media, as far as KTNN of Window Rock is reporting that my son in law was killed and would ask, reaquest that you get the story straight. This is the incident at Blanco Canyon. Please let me know when you make changes.

I hope this investigation is better than the one at Cocaine Cove 3 years ago on the 4th of July. Ha woulnt you know a 3rd DNA was found on her ring and I bet until today this form didnt know that. Yes it true and Fact..No DNA except for her ring was tested on her body now go figure.

So I hope they do justice on this investigation.

I am reading alot of posts sayin that they were trouble makers and how there's two less menaces to society. Well don't make judgements or comments if you didn't really know these people let alone the family. My Uncle Marshall truly turned his life around and was an honest and decent man who raised his kids that way. He was with them all the time. Thats what family was to him. And trust me Marshall Jr was not a menace to society. He was not the one with the gun in his hand. Its so sad how an innocent person can be killed and all you all can say is good riddens. And yes it was only a matter of time since they were trouble makers, but not Marshall and his family. They kept to themsleves but when trouble keeps coming ur way like these people, look what happens. I am just tired of all the violence that we Natives inflect on one another. and trust me, being from California this is not gang banging, its just stupidity and ignorance. You all are in our prayers Uncle Marshall and Percy, and remember that "God is with you always" we love you and our church is praying for you all as well..

Hey there Bertha, it sounds like you may have some important information that could help out with the investigation. My advice would be to contact the reporter and let them in on it.

Blanco Canyon life is not typical of the rest of the Navajo reservation. It is isolated from the "big" reservation. Kids from this area go to school in Blanco and Bloomfield. I went to school with these kids. Only as of late have the younger kids resorted to thinking being "rezzed-out" is cool. They are trying hard to fit in with the gang-bangers they see on satellite TV. The older generations are good people. There have been some very educated people come out of this "checker-board" area. Parents are going to have to learn that you reap what you sow. These youngsters need some discipline or this is taste of worse to come. In the old days, Blanco Canyon kids didn't even realize they were different from everyone else. Nobody differentiated between Hispanics, Navajos or whites. There have only been about 5 blacks in the schools history.

This area has all the ingredients of the old "wild west". Being it is part of the Navajo Reservation, SJCO. Deputies do not have any jurisdiction. The nearest police services come out of Shiprock or Near Cuba. This area has all the makings for a modern killing field, if the occupants want it that way. They know the land. There are roads in and out you can't imagine. There are short-cuts to Cuba, Navajo Lake, Blanco, Bloomfield and Aztec. It would be next to impossible for Law Enforcement to find someone it they don't want to be found. By the time the FBI gets to the crime scene, everything is ancient history.

It is also a staging area for large drug shipments to slip through to colorado and avoid the freeway.Law enforcement is scarce. Its out in the country and people can stash large amounts of marijuana easily.Hence all the homie activity in blanco.

In reference to both of "Get Reals" comments. I know there is a SJCO Substation at DZ School. I think maybe Shiprock Police could either substation or at least have a couple of officers maybe share space... State police also may be give whatever jurisdiction on the res. some deal was in the works about 10-15 years ago. When their is a lack of law vigilantiism prevails.
