While local emergency response agencies have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars over the last 12 years practicing responses to terrorism scenarios, San Juan County has never had an incident to warrant putting all that preparation into action.

oh goody, the local popo get to put on their sojer cammos, web gear and carry big scary military machine gunz. we will be safer with the quasi-military training, they will learn to taze or shoot people faster than in 10 seconds if they come upon the hewos in action. oooorah sojer boyz
