you judgemental people disgust me. get a life and think before you speak. im manuels lil cousin. he may have done a horrible thing to kristin, but he was not a evil piece of crp person. hes the only one that made an effort to be there for me. hes the only one in our family that made an effort to unite all of us as a family. theres a whole lot more to what happened ok, so before you open your mouth to speak negitivly, THINK. because all of you really have NO idea.

Dear Sir,
Thank you for saving the taxpayers of New Mexico the expense of a trial, and giving you three hots and a cot for the rest of your life. My only question is why did you not make this decision before taking the life of your childrens mother.

This man killed a human life, one that was loved by her family and friends. Not everyone reading the quoted post, kills a person regularly, and is the ultimate sin against man and God. It's absolutely normal for people to talk unfavorably and be full of anger, of this monster who also acted cowardly by harming his own body to escape the sentencing he was about to receive. And everyone concerned who is reading this should dwell on the death that occurred. "Miss Jones", how will anyone learn a lesson about life and death if this post is simply erased out of our eyes and ears? Do you use this technique when a loved one becomes deceased? I bet you millions, that if one of your family members was killed by a homicidal maniac, you would probably be dwelling upon the circumstance for the rest of your life.
Everyone, continue talking your say about Manuel, the horrible beast who is now burning in Hades.
if manuel was your beloved family member who made a huge irrational rageful mistake, i think youd be more understanding. hurt, disapointed, and ashamed, but more understanding.

As a matter of fact I have lost many loved ones to violent crimes by the poor decisions of others but as a god fearing woman I find compassion as Jesus did for those that killed him he had pure love and I wish to say the same. Whether Manny was a "murderer" as you all label him he was a human as are all of you made of flesh and bones created by two parents and he had very young children that he created with Kristen in that same manner. His children may grow up and resent him but he will always be their father as will Kristen be their mother. I do not wish to hide it under the rug and ignore clear facts this man made a very bad decision and could not live with it. His rampage ended and his children will suffer for the rest of their lives but they will learn what they are taught as you all have therefor you breed hate. I am grateful my mother has taught me to be compassionate, I am thankful she lives gods word and takes christs examples and lives them. And as for your rantings and ravings about mexicans being the rude people you force yourself to open doors for and being the reason you read instruction booklets in spanish. I am the proud speaker of that language among 4 others none of which were forced upon me. You my friend have been forcing yourself against your will to do things. You must be ashamed I will pray for your inability to stand up for yourself. And thank you very much Ms Katie I do hope my parents are proud of me. I would never take their struggles to raise me in vain, I am forever grateful even to my biological father who nearly killed my mother. I will forever love him as much and pray for him more because he may have stepped very far off the righteous path that my mother has clearly walked holding my hand.
Thank you.

I am a COMPASSIONATE person BUT::::: Some comments on here are crazy. This KILLER had no right to have his obituary in the paper. Never mind a public service! Never mind a spot on the MEMORIAL WEBSITE for people to sign the guestbook!!!! Are you kidding?????
Once again we are over-populated with Mexicans, gangs, all the crime, having baby after baby which we all support. Since moving here I have seen over and over how much we CATER to mexicans.. They barely speak english, we hear instructions in spanish and english, You cannot buy an item without a booklet written in spanish!!! WHY DO WE CATER SO MUCH TO THEM???? If you people want to come over here and live stop being RUDE, learn our language and STOP HAVING MEXICAN babys. I have stopped keeping a door open as they never say thanks! And the women are so RUDE!!!!! Go back to your own country.
Lyn, why don't you go back to Alabama, where you only have to deal with throngs of black folk. They only steal, lie, cheat, rape and kill white girls like you. Adios, Lyn a laputa!

Ok Ok, you all are right.
My cousin was a lowlife, and he did absolutely nothing to contribute anything for anyone. All he did for me was buy beer to shut me up, while all his murdering was going on. I'm very happy Manuel is gone, cuz now i have his car, video games, drug money and guns he stashed away under his bed. Thank you all for the great comments and accurate speculation about him.

I'm truly sorry for the loss of your cousin as well as all the crap these people on here have you put you and your family through. These are the type of idiots that give farmington a bad name. There are many people in farmington praying for your family and especially for their children.

We all make mistakes people so quit passing judgement on this young man and be praying for those young children who just lost their mother and father and for the family who lost a brother, son, and cousin.

God still loved the guy. He probably felt remorse after he killed his woman--why would he kill himself? The victim chose to stay with him, because he wasn't all bad. Yes, it's never so simple like he's bad & a piece of trash. He was only a human being who didn't know how to be somebody better. May God have mercy on his soul & bless the children & his parents who have to live with the result & probably the blame.
This jerk did not have the guts to kill himself. An eye for an eye did him in. Better too late than never. Wifes relatives should have acted long ago. Give those folks a belated cigar.

You forget about pasty white scumbags who dragged a black man to his death in the Great racist state of TexAsssss. Texans are evil, vile neanderthals, with no compassion nor respect for anyone but common criminals. You hear many complaints about the character and unfriendliness of Farmington folk...well guess where that comes from...MISPLACED TEXANS! These over inbred redneck folk need to be put back in their place...just drop them into the closest portable toilet you can find. They'll feel right at home, swimming among the turds.

I'm glad you accurately described NEW MEXICANS! Texans are courteous citizens who help to make this country what it is. New Mexico is a wasteland that we should get rid of!

Kristin was a friend and ex family member of mine. She was a wonderful lady who loved her family and friends dearly. She and her famiy were plagued by Manuel far too long. She was a great girl in a bad situation because of Manuel. I'm glad he's gone so no one else will ever suffer from his toxic attitude. Kristin, dear, you will always be remembered and missed.

Guiterrez: I used to date Kristin's cousin, and I'm not sorry he's gone. If I were you, burn all the shit he left you because its a sour memory of your cousin's pathetic life. I hope his and Kristin's 3 daughters are raised well by Berna and Andrew, because Manuel was a pathetic coward who robbed many of happiness.

And by the way, how could you not know that the abuse was going on? Do you think that this was the first time he held a gun to her head? He did that 9 years ago right before D. was born. It was no secret that he abused her, hit her, threatened her life and those of her family too. Someone from your family should have stepped in long ago. I even stood up to Manuel when Kristin's cousin and I were dating and that was years ago. Your family knew how abusive he was and could have put a stop to it a long time ago. All her family did was try to protect her and her kids and pray that he leave them all alone! I cannot believe that you being family of his were that naive to his actions, while I knew the whole time and helped all I could. Shame on you for not having the courage to stand up to a tyrant who we all knew was dangerous

Ahh. The sound of others trying to find a part of this world to be a part of. After reading some of these shallow comments it is obvious that many of you have a very low self esteem and are looking for some attention. Unfortunately you are settling for negative attention, which does not help you to feel like a valuable person. Your harsh words and rambling only reflects the sin left unchecked in your own lives. Easier to direct your anger and frustrations outward than to humble yourself and honestly look within. In the long run you will recognize how truly emotionally, mentally, and spiritually immature you are. You are not making any impact on society or others lives with these attitudes and beliefs. Less time condemning others and more time working on yourself would be appreciated by the rest of the world. If your worried about those three girls, try bettering yourself. Pulling the plank out of your own eye first. Only then will the world look different. You will then be able to see, instead of just speak.
