Is it illegal to leave loaded firearms in a car?

I have been watching this thread a bit. I am NOT saying you are wrong - so no name calling is required. But, could you tell us the state(s) where it is illegal to leave a loaded firearm in a vehicle. IL, NJ, CA come to mind because normal citizens can't have a loaded firearm anywhere but at home or on a range. That doesn't constitute "several" in my mind, but...

I Totally Agree but even 2 would be considered several to barefoot2626.

Several would be three or more.

sev∑er∑al (svr-l, svrl)
adj.
1. Being of a number more than two or three but not many: several miles away.

I could have said 'many', by the way.

You mean like the voices in your head? In that case I think several is acceptable but many would be more accurate. Do you have names for all of them?

Like your aliases, shug.

Or the states that you seem to have lost track of when I said "several".

States? What states? I was talking about the voices in your head. Is that what you do, name them after states? For a paranoid delusional sexual deviant you're even more obnoxious than most.

Watch out! There's a Squach behind every tree!

Oh, and stop calling me shug........pervert.

LMAO!!!!

I have no regard for what you actually say, Shug.

Like everyone else here.

Maybe you can practice 'your' snappy comebacks and give it another shot?

Don't expect an honest answer...I will say that in response to an earlier post of mine regarding CCW carry in a vehicle, she posted a quote of a law as posted here earlier and said that "leaving a loaded gun in a vehicle unattended is illegal". I called her on her comment because that is not what she posted from the law. So what you have seen since is the result.

I love how you have now expanded your previous comment to include "several states". Funny how that was NOT part of your original argument. Even funnier is the ONE example of ONE state law that YOU posted does NOT say that leaving a loaded firearm in a vehicle unattended is illegal. It does stipulate that just as when the CCW holder is carrying their firearm, when leaving it unattended in the vehicle, it will be concealed.

Initially, YOU said neither...just that leaving a loaded firearm in a vehicle unattended is illegal...and of course...you were wrong

Make sure the nuts on the guns forum stay in their bunkers talking to themselves and don't influence public policy.

I guess if a person was correct they would give a list of states quite readily just to prove wrong the person that questions their statement. "Look it up yourself, find it yourself & do your own research" doesn't really make much of an argument. I did google it as a matter of fact and the results didn't show a single state that stated "leaving a loaded gun in a vehicle unattended is illegal."

Certain posters sidestep & misdirect to the point their argument loses credibility quite rapidly.
