Why hasnt this gone to trial yet? it's over one year. What happened to the right of a speedy trial?

The detention center is a privately operated institution and im sure locals are part owners in it or have some sort of interest especially when they are billing me and you for its clientel.Maybe?

I did not realize the detention center was privately owned. Is that what makes the difference as to when this should go to trial?
