That's the fault of our legislature, the very people that are elected by New Mexicans - nobody else.

Horseshit, just like any employer there are some arrogant SOBs around, but in my experience I find you assertion misguided, incorrect as most public servants to be conscientious and caring in their jobs. I suspect you're just jealous because they have a great retirement and yours probably sucks.

Back on topic, our legislature is the one biggest hurdle holding NM back in the peon/patron days. Their actions and in-actions have further exasperated the economic problems we already have.

Man talk a b*tch slap to the face!

It has worked...particulary with the HELP and SUPPORT of most major American TV and Cable TV news networks.

Even in the midst bombings during the WWII Allied LITERAL BOMBINGs of German towns/cities/industry, the GERMAN population stilled was enveloped by Nazi/Adolf Hitler propaganda radio news reports, etc.

Unfortunately, too many don't care or or too drawn into Barack OBama White House Twitter feeds and TV News reports, i.e. MSNBC, highlighting WHAT AMERICANS NEED TO KNOW!

Exactly. We've GIVEN our production superiority to China. We had it, and because China was willing to do it cheaper, our government forfeited our birthright to a foreign nation by increasing taxes, regulations, and other barriers to mining, drilling, and manufacturing right when China said they'd do it cheaper. Stupid move. And we are paying for it now with a floundering economy, high unemployment, and shoddy products. Liberals think they made the world better by making it cleaner, and they are stupid too, because all the results of Chinese production, like pollution and poor work conditions, including slave labor, are WORSE in China than they EVER were in the United States. All liberals did was put the problem out of sight and out of mind. They didn't fix anything. They did prove, though, how ignorant they are.

You have the two draft dodgers, Rush and Reagan ("both great men" according to you), to thank for NAFTA, which has expanded and created world trade with places like China. You should also thank many other of your fellow conservatives for their support of NAFTA, as well.

Pleas think before you spout off information that cannot be substantiated. Just to focus on the -effects of wind turbines. Not only do they kill migratory wildlife, they also have an adverse effect with fragmentation of the land. With deep hole drilled into our Earth, wildlife is harmed even more. The emotional effects to humans has not been widely studied.

ROTFL - your post is quite high in its entertainment value. Your posts tell me you can't possibly be near 30 yrs old yet.

Bring on green energy, NM has lots of empty space, sunshine & wind, particularly what comes from you in OK. Moreover, NM needs the jobs and the industry if we ever desire to shed ourselves of being a welfare state.

You of all can understand my conviction of protecting the rights of others. I do support green energy, but in a responsible way. NM is one of the last few states that has not been subject to wide scale pollution. It is though facing challenges. Illegal dumping of chemicals in the air, mining, overgrazing. Just to name a few. We don't need ' dirty jobs' at the expense of others.
