Hello, I just sold my house in Cd.Juarez and moved to good USA but guess what? I ended up in the most unemployable city of the SW. I'm running out of what little money I had and I am thinking of simply pushing a cart of the homemade tortillas I make at night. I just started thinking about it and wonder if there's a future for a mobile TORTILLA STAND. If you see my colorful non-political tortilla cart would you stop by for a sample and a chat, free choice of delicious salsas included. I depend on you.
OK has one of the lowest unemployment % in the world. Anybody that wants to work is able to. There are many excellent Mexican food establishments here, but the good ones are expensive. You could make so much money selling what you have, the money you do make would have to be shredded. You couldn't get rid of it fast enough.

thank you for your kind words but being me, I simply couldn't make it to Oklahoma, not that I don't want to. NewMexico's where my heart is and stays.

Those mobile "roach coaches" seem to be quite the hit up here in Farmington NM. Some peddling BBQ, some America cooking, some Mexican cooking, etc. Maybe you could invest in one.

Food trucks are great. The city of Albuquerque has many and there is a group who helps entrepreneurs go through all the red tape and health inspections etc..Food Safety and Health. No brick and mortar cockroaches.

The suuggestions of food trucks sound like a good idea t me. But here in OK We would have to travel all the way to NM to fnd one. For some reason ,they do not exist for one that makes good salsa and over all Mexican food like tacos and burrtos. You have to go to a Taco Beuno or Taco Hut.

off topic nonsense. You are blind to the fact that fish and people require clean water which are worth protecting and conserving. You are a slave to ideology and corporate toadyism.
Fish & water are worth protecting? Please! I live in a an area surounded by powerplants that exports its product to other states. Power plants that not only polute the water, fish, but the air we breath around the four corners. Where is your bleeding heart there? I dare you to eat fish from Morgan lake. Stand on top of Bisti highway & tell me that the people in San Juan County have their best interest looked after.

off topic nonsense. The four corners area deserves protection, too - even if most of the local population and leadership are so shortsighted.

Sad but true NM depends too much on Government programs instead of private enterprise for jobs! Both my children found jobs out of NM when they graduated from school. When I retire in 2 years I'll be leaving NM after living here all my life.

So, from some of the comments it seems it is governments fault for not having or creating jobs? We are pretty big in the government jobs % for a state our size. You go to government schools and expect a government job? Attack big banks, wall street, the rich, regulate businesses, squash small business and then WHAT? No Jobs?

The reason more business doesn't come to Albuquerque is because it's not conducive to enterprise.
