I do though expect you and others to protect this land from blatant acts of degrading our environment. That includes throwing any trash you leave behind. That's why I propose rewards to ones like me that report those breaking our laws. I'll testify in court against you and mail out Christmas cards to the prison of Uncle SAMs choice.
Well. Now that you've been properly identified as a far left liberal, you are a wiser person. And you are welcome! While you are reporting stuff to the authorities, and waiting for THEM to take action, and writing your Christmas cards, I'll be doing as I always have, and keep cleaning up remote campsites I visit and hauling the bags of trash to a garbage can somewhere. That's another difference between liberals and conservatives. While liberals report stuff to government and expect government to fix everything, conservatives actually take action and do for themselves.

The ripple effect from former Governor Richardson and the Democrat legislature's war on industry continues. Killing off mining and timber, and then oil and natural gas, means fewer high paying jobs. That means less spending money. That means less money spent on all the support industries. That means less money spent in restaurants, retail stores, on construction, and on everything else. That means less travel, which means fewer tourism dollars, which means fewer jobs needed there. Tax breaks and special favors for Hollywood and high tech outfits weren't enough to replace oil and gas jobs then, and they aren't now. Putting band aids on it won't work. We need to look at industry a whole new way, and that means supporting and encouraging it, instead of making it more difficult and expensive to do business here. New Mexico has a reputation for being tough on industry, so industry moves, and stays, away. There you have it.
AS I posted before, everyone, including her own party, former Repub governors, and industry itself do not agree with you, they agree on only one thing-Martinez did this, and we are suffering due to her leadership.

Our state is doing the cleaning, and that was started by the dems. We are paying for Repub messes with WIPP, and every superfund site.

That is the Maobama game plan from day one - no leadership, can't fix anything, screw everything up and then blame someone else for your lack of vision or understanding of anything business related.

Yeah, sure you are. New Mexico has had a predominantly Democratic legislature for over half a century..so what messes, exactly, are the Dems in New Mexico trying to clean up..other than their own? And glad you mentioned superfund sites. 8 out of the top 10 states with the most superfund sites are predominantly Democrat states.

Uh-huh. Except when it's convenient to your argument you bitch about mining and logging and ranching in the west too..and the "messes" they supposedly made in the 1800's. Yet us westerners, who actually USE and care about the land, instead of just pay lip-service to environmental theory like you libs do, have actually managed to keep our states cleaner than liberal easterners. Why? Because we aren't hypocrites like you city dwelling big-government types.

And that has what to do with the conversation at hand...unemployment? Maybe he recycles...EVERYTHING. Nightsoil to you. What, now we need a vitae...have to cite your good deeds and wear it on a sleeve. Just opening yourself up...give it a rest. We know what a good boy scout you are.
