Again, why offer universal insurance in N.M. when we operate as a sanctuary state for illegal aliens, our borders are yet under control allowing for continued illegal immigration, and we are giving out driver's licenses and benefits directly or indirectly, to illegal aliens?

So now I'm supposed to be mad that gas prices are going down? I wish our legislators would pull their heads out of their butts and actually think what's good for the people. A surplus means that they'll throw some table scraps at us like they did last time. Ultimately, I'd rather pay less for gas, and end up saving money on everything from gasing up the car to buying groceries, than I would like to see gas prices remain high and get an "offset" check for $110 sometime around Christmas.

NM politics operate in a mindset that is best described as the old Superman comic "Bizarro World",where everything good is considered bad and vice versa.A break for the consumer, especially lower income,is considered bad for the politicians, and the politicians wonder why they are so negatively perceived!
