Gun supporters rally in Farmington

Feb 2, 2013 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: Farmington Daily Times

The gun owners said they are under attack from proposed regulations and a perception that guns are responsible for some of the well-publicized mass shootings of recent months.

Another liberal hack talking trash. Having a imposter as President signing to LAW OF THE LAND, i.e.Sequestration of 2011, and now (currently) having HIM back-track to get around the LAW OF THE LAND.
And just another whining con.A con BOY at that.
This is what dis-gusts me and a great many NON-Liberals extremist hacks, who oppose the policies of this White House Administration.
Well cry us a big river. con boy.(You should read your sentence).
Democrats who sign up and impose laws on the rest of us - but then take cover or lay blame or BEING IRRESPONSIBLE - when POLITICS trump American well-being.
You mean like the prescription drug bill, no child left behind, homeland security act, an illegitimate war, TARP and the like? Is that what you mean con boy?
The same arguments against the White House (2000-2008) but to far MORE GREATER/SERIOUS domestic/international issues suddenly don't matter in the eyes Liberal wack-jobs.
And the president for the next four years is who? You ain't seen nothing yet, whine bag con boy.
I don't under-stand how anyone can defend a totally off-based US Govt concerned only with their public persona to americans while the World world totally knows the US Government.
I doubt you understand the difference between your mouth and your arse, con boy.
I see though 'some' news reports FINALLY reporting on some questionable policies that this White House implements.
We NEED more news coverage.....before it is too late.
It's way too late for you, con boy. Way, way too late.

Sorry, got interrupted.

So if my "LIBERTIES" bother you or MY neighbors, then you claim the government has taken over my life and I'm not being personally responsible. But if your LIBERTIES bother me or your neighbors it's just too bad.
I think I understand how you view "liberty", con man; it's called CHERRY PICKING.

You being a modern day liberal and all, I can understand how you could be so confused about personal responsibility and being a good neighbor.

That is what happens when one expects nanny-state government to take over the role rightly held by free adults.

Yes, I had just as soon have laws and restrictions to keep you from cherry picking your way into my liberties. It's a concept you don't know anything about. It's called leveling the playing field. It keeps people like you from putting out houses on your curb IF YOU SO CHOOSE.(Remember when you said that? Well we do!) The "nanny state' keeps illegetimates like you from doing that, I am happy to say.

There you go with your liberal lies again. Either that, or your memory just isn't what it used to be. Perhaps you'd better go back and re-read.

Of course you want laws and restrictions! You are a modern day liberal, and modern-day liberals are NOT about freedom, no matter what they say. Modern-day liberals support government control, because they don't believe that adults are capable of taking care of themselves.

Of course you are! Liberty is an absolute. It cannot be "cherry-picked". One either is free, or is not.

One must search pretty hard in the United States today to find real freedom. Very few, if any, attain it in the modern age. Citizens have allowed themselves to be incrementally enslaved for over 100 years now.

The bottom line is this: The 2nd Amendment is an integral part of the United States Constitution. Any infringement upon it is an infringement upon liberty as a whole, and and infringement upon the foundation of our nation.

An attack upon the 2nd Amendment is an attack upon the Constitution of the United States. If the enemies of freedom succeed in compromising the 2nd Amendment, they will have made great strides towards finally officially eliminating all of the Constitutional limits to governmental power that have blocked implementation of complete government control over the lives of U.S. citizens.

Make no mistake about it: Eliminating the 2nd Amendment is only a stepping stone for the enemies of the freedom.

You can't yell "fire" in a crowded theater. Why? people might be hurt or killed in the ensuing panic. Your right to "free speech" ends where their right to "pursue life, liberty, and happiness" begins.

The founding fathers never envisioned a country where it's citizens slaughtered each other by the hundreds of thousands. That's why they made sure that the Constitution was a living document that could be changed to fit the situation the future found itself in.

You can't pound your chest and run around with your hair on fire about the "right" to own a gun when entire cities full of your fellow citizens are being murdered.

Your right to own a gun ends where another's right to not be shot begins.

Is it true that most, if not all, legitimate gun shows do not allow loaded firearms on premise? This is very much hipocracy since, after all, these people are only "good" gun owners that would NEVER hurt anyone with a LEGALLY purchased gun.

That's exactly what I've been asking these "defenders of the Constitution," Saint. Is there a limit to the first amendment? Is there? Yes, there is. WHY is everyone so insane about the fact that there should be limits on the second amendment, also? THERE ARE LIMITS TO EVERYTHING, otherwise, why not give the little kids in the schools rocket launchers to protect themselves?(why did I ask that? Some of them would say we should do that very thing). In a sane, safe society, we have to continually evaluate the Constitution and its ability to keep us ALL free and safe. If children are not safe in the classroom and are in danger of having THEIR right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness destroyed simply because some extremists say there should be NO limits to this amendment, then I'm sorry, "defenders," you are just plain wrong. And I'm so grateful that the majority of Americans appear to be rational, intelligent, reasonable people and agree with that.

And Cary, we're NOT talking about eliminating the 2nd amendment. Just limiting it. Rationally, safely, logically limiting it. I am flabbergasted that people continue to irrationally insist that the government is going to swoop in and take ALL the guns. No one is even suggesting that, so why keep spreading that rumor?
