I'm sorry, but McCulloch is a rich, elitist snob. We deserve better city councilors than this.

look at your other selected government people who sit on your city council. yes, selected, not elected. lets look at a few, darnell uneducated and former beat cop - ask around how he treated non white while being one of farmington's finest. you actually think a person without an education and the retention span of a fruit fly would be elected in any other government in the real world, please the guy is an idiot. how about your mayor, look at his wifes father history with other soical groups. one does not marry someone without knowing or accepting their in laws philosophical beliefs. only two here and look at the history of your elected officials and their appointments, does rob mayes come to mind and ask where his son learned his behavior. of course their nose is in the air, read the history of farmington and the racist ranking of farmington. lastly, how much money do they make off of decisions for farmington.

The reason the "good ol' boy"network remains is because nobody cares. The recent municipal election is a good example. The voter turnout was something like 10 percent of registered voters. When you take your elected representation for granted, you can end up with people like McCulloch, Darnell, Mayes & Roberts running the show.

Take a look at Farmington's "elite." That is truly relative, as in, they would be elite only in this little uneducated town.

Like the vast majority here, they are rather ignorant, unattractive, not even particularly wealthy, and live in a bubble, making them the rednecks they are.

It also doesn't help that money wins elections. Not class, not education, not wisdom, but money. The few people who have tried to run against the richies have ended up getting stomped. Not because they wouldn't have done a better job. Most of them would have. But because the richies spend outrageously to stomp the intellectuals and those without a good ole' boy card back into the ground. But hey, this is America, land of the free. Can't tell them not to spend their money the way they want, can we now?

Also, when the VAST MAJORITY of those showing up to vote are the good ole boys/girls' buddies, what is the public to expect? More people need to be involved in the voting.

Hey, I voted in that election. And I don't know any of those guys personally. anybody who doesn't take their responsibility seriously and vote doesn't earn the right to complain about why things are bad. You're the problem.

If you don't vote, you lose the right to b1tch.
