Isn't it spelled "camaraderie"?
World English Dictionary
noun - a spirit of familiarity and trust existing between friends

United States

Way to go Makayla, I'm so proud of you! It is a thankless job, and not everyone is cut out for it, but you, Daniel and your Dad are awsome, I hope the community knows how lucky it is to have you all as their volunteers!!!

Thank you, to all of the volunteers that take the time to help out your fellow citizens. You are amazing and awsome people we should be so grateful to have you. It is nice to see an article about the young people in this community that do take pride in themselves.

You perverted little green monsters (Jackson and Debbie). why dont you get your lazy trailer trash asses out there and do something besides deride somebody for helping out the community. Just because you couldnt bed a girl that young or with that many teeth if your life depended upon it does not give you free license to disrespect her. Have you ever gotten your beer bellies to the college drill tower? Some of the instructors there are so overzealous that they make it their purpose to wash out people that arent perfect. So unless you know from personal experience, dont talk shit. Unless of course you want to PAY for full time UNION firefighters to be paid for sleeping.
annoyed also

Why do you have to bash on paid firefighters. We work hard and yes we do get paid for sleeping but more times than not we are up running calls at night. As a paid firefighter I want to help people and I enjoy the camaraderie just as much as the volunteers. Please don't bash on either paid or volunteer firefighters. We try our hardest and love what we do. So "Annoyed" please just remember that next time you feel that it is necessary to call people out on here. Oh, and to "Jackson" and Debbie", poor form and just plain mean. Thanks, Proud of what I do

to annoyed also: UNION does not always mean PAID or PROFESSIONAL firefighter. I was not bashing PAID or Career firefighters, far from it. I was however taking a subtle hit at UNION firefighters who in some municipalities are far from professional. The IAFF in many cases has no interest in protecting the community, only in maximizing its income. Remember when the IAFF said that its members cannot volunteer in their own communities? Or how about when a union says that following NFPA staffing means refusing to call a neighboring department because they are not union members? Or that they do not have enough staffing on any fire they respond to and also complaining that when a fire occurs in a rural area that the non union department in that district "calls too many firefighters"? Or how about when a union has written it into the contract that a union firefighter does not have to have basic medical qualifications to be a firefighter, even though the department in question provides medical response?

The union wanted represent me and my co-workers once, until they found out that what we were paid. Then they stopped talking to us.

UNIONS are BIG BUSINESS with only their executives interests at heart.
