You people in San Juan County are idiots.

The dispatchers don't get paid very much. They work LONG hours and have to listen to YOUR stupid problems because you are to drunk or high to handle them yourselves.

If you call 911, be ready to tell the dispatcher exactly where you are. The dispatchers sit in front of a computer monitor, not a crystal ball and have to interpret what your intoxicated/high ramblings are about.

My sympathies go to the family of the victims in the accident, but we are not going to solve the problem by creating a new one, that is, forcing our experienced dispatchers to find other work.

Let's take the lessons learned from this horrible tragidy and work togehter to prevent a similar incident from happening again.

this is terrible, makes you wonder if the responders, where high at the time of the 911 call, how can a person have to call 911 seven times? aren't they supposed to stay on the phone with the caller? did the same 911 operator take the call all 7 times?

It's already going to court. It doesn't need to be played out on the Factor so Fox can sell more commercials at the expense of our hard working dispatchers. Get real.

You're absolutely right. And this is a profession that they CHOOSE. Most of them are fantastic at what they do and I take my hat off to them. I certainly couldn't do what they do. However, in this case, there was negligence.
