if the law would change and stop defending the crimmals if they do harm to people the same punishment should be done to them and stop giving them an a pat on the back and that is whats being done and get off because their parents know some one it is only going to get worse the death penatly should be inforced and followed and clear out jail and prison ,we need to grow up and make a stand and stop the crime from happening to our family and children.kids are being allowed to beat each other and get away with it cause they have darn good lawers .

Isn't it wonderful, we are listed as number two for the most dangerous state? Gosh! I can hardly contain myself. Our new governor is doing such a great job at improving the whole state. No wonder he will only be a one term governor!

Does this statistic surprise anyone? After Texas was overrun by Katrina "victims," our crime rates shot up sharply in the DFW Metroplex area and even more in Houston.

I do not want to be unkind, but did you hear any victim of the horrible flooding in Iowa/Illinois/Missouri whining? No, they did not. They picked themselves up and got to reconstruction work. This is what real Americans do.

You know this state is number two for a couple reasons! The first is because the criminals who do the shooting, stealing, rapeing, robbing and all the other glorious crimes they commit know that our system is a fucking joke! If a cop takes one of these a$$holes down a little hard the damn aclu, naacp, and every other bull$hit group is dripping at the mouth to get this piece of $hit off! Number 2 is these kids in their 18-mid twenties or the product of kids having kids! Parents dont make their kids tuck in their pants, they would rather let leave the house with their pants hanging on their ass! Their is no sense of community, parenting, self control, nothing. they people who read this my opinnion doesnt matter one damn bit but if I can just open your eues for a sceond then my job is done! Back your police, firefighters, military and they will back you! Without them we will be number 1 next year!

If he were so smart, how come this state darn near recalled him and all the state legislators for the ridiculous pay raise they were going to give themselves. The man has done nothing except talk. Very little has been done to improve this state.

I believe it! Three years after Katrina and there are still 300 National Guard troops patrolling the streets of New Orleans. With a third less population than pre Katrina the are a record setting number of homicides taking place. This is out of control and has to be stopped. The police and National Guard need to shoot to kill and get these gang banging thugs under control and give the streets back to law abiding citizens. These animals running the streets do not accept law and order so get rid of them until whats left start getting the message.

Make it a safe state. Don't call law enforcement, shoot the SOBs. No court costs, attorneys fees, prison taxes, and no dumbass judges.

excuse me--he vetoed the pay raise. the guy has been in office for less than a year. takes a long time to clean up all of the corruption the democrats have had going for decades in that state. how many former La demo govs are still in prison???

he only vetoed it because he was on the recall list. He was going to let the pay raise take effect immediatly, until the citizens of this state took up a recall petition. Yea, Louisiana is corrupt, so is Chicago, washington dc. Probably Virginia, but most of you are yankee snobs any way. You never do anything wrong. Jindal also did away with our ethics board, makes me wonder how corrupt he is. Any way, what concern is it or yours how great Jindal is or isn't? Your not one of his india pets are you?

beat me, whip me, but don't go calling me a yankee. i'm not sure what an "india pet" is, but for a politician, jindall seems to have a lot of common sense, something you don't see much in washington these days...
