Thank you, village idiot.

Now... anyone wanting to share their experiences with BETTER BY DESIGN REAL ESTATE (not the town of Jermyn or Jermyn area), please share it here. The more people who come out and speak about rent money not being paid, utilities being shut off, lack of communication etc... the better.

Yeah I can see that, village idiot. No matter, I see that the guy was arrested and charged with multiple theft charges. People are coming out with their stories elsewhere. And trolls keep acting like trolls on Topix, like you.

I'm glad to see this fat arrogant bastard arrested. I didn't like this jerk off from day one. My apt. building got put up for Sheriff's sale, utilities turned off, and later come to find the majority of the properties he "managed" were also foreclosed on. Not only does he need to be locked up, he needs his fat head beat in and his arrogant mouth to be kicked.

Actually... someone DID reply, and it had nothing to do with your incomprehensive ramblings... Mr. Stupid. Please, take your Darwin Award and there's a nice street over there (points in the direction of the street), go play in it for a while... that's a good fatty ding-dong. Yes.

And it sounds like YOU know more about the situation than you're letting on... all the way down in NC.
<hr>Perhaps you're the cousin down there that everyone knows about. Either that, or just another troll under a bridge 800 miles from the topic, who has to go that far in order to say "clip-clop, clip-clop" so someone that might respond.

To anyone actually interested in following this case... he has formal arraignment coming up in October in Lackawanna County, and one in November in Luzerne. It's in the hands of the justice system now, and let's hope that justice is served. People lost their properties, homes and savings as a direct result of what happened. So anyone who may have been affected by this, definitely contact the Dickson City Police or the District Attorney of Lackawanna County.

Well rest assured that it's in the hands of the justice system and I hope we all get justice. From what I understand this affected a lot of people, far worse than it affected me. People lost their homes and savings.

A BS artist of the highest level. Peter Lamandre is such a good talker it appears he may walk on these charges. He has hired Atty George Skumanick, former District Atty who attempted to charge teen girls with producing child porn for texting photos of themselves in bikinis. The scumbags flock together. Luzerne county charges have been dropped. According to the DA "the office disallowed them" after reaching the Common Pleas level. Lackawanna county is slated for trial but I forsee a plea bargain. Much like his parents and brother received for manufacturing marajuana. Kim, the bookkeeper for BBD and co-conspirator in the drug case will walk scott free.

According to the docket sheets, a bench warrant has been issued for his arrest because he failed to appear for final pretrial. I doubt he will walk.

Yep, he's in the jailhouse now. 11-23 months and has been ordered to pay $376,000 in restitution and five years probation. It made the news. Glad justice happened today.

We use to rent in a property he managed. He clearly had issues - his eyes weirdly rolled back in his head and he could never look us in the eye when we asked him something. Repairs would never happen, steps and sidewalks never shoveled (despite it being in the lease that it was his responsibility), but boy did he show up fast to scream at our neighbors on the 3rd of the month to get his rent money.

As another user mentioned, he let the building go up for sheriff's sale and stopped paying for the water bill. In the middle of a shower, it abruptly shut off. Luckily, our neighbors had a child who needed access to water due to a medical condition so it could be turned back on. Otherwise, someone would have had to pay the $700+ bill.

He pretty much let anyone take up residence, get as much money as possible, then evict them once they couldn't pay. Rinse and repeat.

He even tried starting another company - Lamandre Consulting - to scam more people out of more money. This time it was IP phone systems, which I'm pretty certain he had no experience with.

He was ordered go pay somewhere around $376,000 in restitution, if he were to pay it at $500 a month then we're looking at over 62 years of payments. I feel horrible for the people who lost big amounts of money.
