Mr. Kovacik ripped people off that is why he voluntarily gave up his practice. My husband and I were one of the people he ripped off and I know for a fact there are other people.
Indeed he did

Matt was a hard working attorney, who only did things to help others. Often, he wouldn't even take fees from his clients or charge them if they were in a hard place. He is a giving man, and a fantastic lawyer. Didn't you ever hear that if you don't have nice things to say, you shouldn't say anything at all? This is someone's son, brother, husband, and father. Just because your cases didn't turn on the way you had liked, doesn't mean he didn't try his very hardest for you. He dedicated his time and his life for the good of the community, and he put everything he had into cases, always working for his clients. He is a reputable man, an honest man, and anyone would be lucky to know him.

Matt is a likeable guy....no doubt. But the judge had a different take on his honesty and a few of his fellow attorneys, including clients, in the county also had a different take on the quality of legal service that was provided by Matt. So it is probably best how the situation turned out and am sure Matt is doing fine in another profession.

my family and I are victims too. we were sought out by him and deceived by him. He comes from a great family, but he did not do what he promised for us and he preyed upon our grief to take a nice sum of money.
