When you are a novice concerning gayness, you should refrain from expressing
Harsh opinions.

Most gays spent years making their choices and live successful lives.
Yes Laurel, there are bad gays just like bad straights.

I am sure he was implying like most things in life there are a few bad apples. Just like everyone that attends a church isn't a saint. You know what I mean.

You gotta feel bad for God.

He/She/It get's blamed for everything, gets used as an excuse to judge anyone different from us, and apparently demands we kill anyone who calls Him/Her/It by a different name.

I'd say He/She/It gets tired of being used by us humans as justification for our insecurities, jealousies, and hatreds.

He/She/It deserves a little credit for not being a small minded bigot.

Thanks for the warning.

I try to be careful but occasionally I run into a small minded, insecure, bigot, and can't avoid 'em.

I'll warn my friends, gay and straight, to be on guard also.

Not for me to judge...God will handle that part!!!
I just think back to the days when you never heard of these type of situations, drugs weren't so rapid, sex changes were zilch etc.and things were so much better. I know there were gays but there was not so many because they didn't "come out"..Now the gays have come out of the closets everywhere, and nothing that I hear now days surprises me about anything actually, but stop and think of how much worse the world is now...Things are bad and you can contribute a lot to peoples actions. Sad to me...wish we could turn back the clock..since people aren't listening. If you read the bible, a book written thousands of years ago rather true how the scriptures written are coming around to be true about things happening today..Think about it....

Name a few of the successful gays, both men and women. Did you and your wife just happen to suddenly be surrounded by gayness at this age and stage of life or has it been lifelong? Surely you did not seek them out because you are a "cause" supporter and all curious. What about starving children? Its true gays can't give birth and I am opposed to them adopting. Talk about confusion that is a prime example. My parents are Steve and Josh or Megan and Iris. The Bible says male and female, that is my story and I am sticking to it forever.

By the way I want to remain a novice, I know what they do, but maybe not in the depth you do. Its not a lifestyle I want to learn more about; with the exception of one young woman we are a gay free family. I am probably about as educated as you are and capable of posting to this forum. You are on here all the time bragging how you moved or are one day to Blairsville then why did you choose a little community? I pray it is not to promote gay issues, we don't need them. The community was fine before you came here.

Laurel I really hate to disillusion you but Blairsville has always had gay people living there. Most were married. As matter of fact I know of at least three that living there now that are married. I also see know reason why gay couples should not be allowed to adopt children. A lot of them would be far better off in a family that loves them instead of what they are born into. One thing you need to bear in mind is not all people live their life using a Bible as an example. Your attitude is fine in your on house, but when you go out in the REAL world you will encounter a lot of different people and beliefs.

Laurel just for clarification what do you consider gay? An individual that has had sex with the same sex or do you include everyone that has had sex with male and females? How about the person that had gay sex as a teenager, but went on to marry a person of the opposite sex. Or the individual that has been married for 30 years, but had an encounter or two with the same sex. Peoples sexuality is their own business. If you have no personal experience to draw from maybe you should not be so judgmental......

Listen Ellijay I am in the real world and I have been for probably more years than you. Sorry if family sees as I do and has disenchanted their gay relatives. You mentioned adoption, no they don't want children, no strings and no responsibilities but for a sinful, self-centered lifestyle. They don't believe in the Bible because they are all about "self" in every respect and to distant themselves from the Bible means they want to plan their own lives based on "self" and try to recruit others just like you are doing. You bet my attitude is fine in my house as a man and woman with children its the norm, get used to it. So you may be one of the married couples I don't care, I stand on the word and it says plainly one man and one woman or live alone. Now you take your city slicker ways and stay in the woods of Ellijay.

I consider gay as a sexual relation between two people of the same sex. You know exactly what I am referring to and you can't trick me up. I have no personal experience of being gay. Gay is not skipping up the trail it is a term some sick individual attached to two people creating their own rules that are unnatural. As for the examples you mentioned they should have turned from the first encounter as you described and lived alone (meaning no sex with same) or married a person of the opposite sex. As for the couple married for 30 years, they are both sick, one for their lifestyle and the other for putting up with it. I already described how I would not be there holding my spouses hand while he paraded his male lover and you can take that all the way to the bank. The fact these people molest or recruit children and young people in this makes me puke. You are going to have to work harder on your case and you are judging me the same as I am judging gays.

Seems like you are the only one judging here. Personally I don't care the least about what your convictions may or may not be or your opinion for that matter. Just stating a few facts of life. Which it appears you missed growing up. And no where in the Bible does it say an individual should live alone.

am not scared of it at all, the men don't want me and I will slap a woman that makes a move on me into tomorrow. Why are you defending them, did you make a huge property sale or do you have a business that caters to them? Unless you are part of it then be a part against it. If you are just trying to keep this forum going then I am afraid MOST people are on my side.

Well its good you are the only person that knows about the "birds and the bees". When I was growing up I went to my mother first if I didn't understand something. She always told me the truth. She taught me to be a lady. My parents were married (man and woman). You are either gay, are going to be, agitating me or are one of the modernists afraid of hurting a gay person's feelins. The Bible does say that where passion is addressed it is better to marry than burn. It would not be good to go out and commit rape or molest a person of the same sex. The Bible clearly states man and woman. The Bible clearly states it is better not to be alone. God created Eve for Adam not Steve, she was a helpmate. In a marriage you want only the best for the other (of the opposite sex) and you build up and love each other in every way until death parts you.

I don't know it seems like me and Bearsway vs. you. No, I just have a few that are friends. Not to mention a few life experiences. Lol . I figured that will give you something to chew on. You have to throw a dog a bone every once and a while. Anyway catch you later; it is always entertaining talking with you.

People are many wonderful personalities, sex is a perk God gave a man and woman and designed to be in marriage. If one is not married they need to exercise self-control. Keep it at home if you are not going to populate the race and do not seek a person of the same sex. Sex is not the only thing about a person and did you know someone can live to be 100 or more without it. Everyone of us was created in the flesh and because of the fall in the Garden of Eden we have the urge but do not have to act on it. The world would be a miserable place if there was not self-control.
