Well, it's up to 7 now.
Maybe all the family, or the command staff at the office...or a combination.

No acually he should ntbe allowed to resign.. He should be terminated just as any other citizen that had committed a crime at their work place. However that means the entire group would be gone

No. Let the voters decide if it's important to them.

"Blairsville. Home of criminals."

We better be careful or that's the reputation we'll get stuck with. Used to be ok before the Internet was able to spread news easily. Now there's no hiding anymore.

Very good point but it's more than disturbing that we have so many feeling this behavior is ok and 'no big deal'.

You're 100% correct. There's just no ethics any more. Because the big boys at state level take kickbacks and lie and cheat, its ok at local level. Good ole Georgia. What are we?#1 in corruption?

And we wonder why.

Well, at least I can vote. And I'm voting against people that lie after they've sworn on a bible and taken an oath to represent us, the taxpayers.

Judge Barrett got to quit, and go back to work as a lawyer. And draw his pension.

I hear they are not through with the gun slinger.. I hear he may not keep his penion.. The reason its having to go through this long drawn out process the Attorney Gen office says the DA didnt process this as required of him. Therefore they have to step in and do the DA's job.. when the AG gets tired of doing the DA's job they will do something with him

That's good news. It's about time Barret faces a little of his own judgement. He needs to be held accountable in some way for the people he has publically humiliated and ridiculed without just cause. One reason I don't want to see Mason win is because he has an ego much like Barrett.

If ego's are your problem, most people I know and respect think it takes a far bigger ego to face down a GBI investigation about coercing an employee to falsify a report in an attempted insurance fraud scheme, and doing it as just a routine day down at the Union County Sheriffs Office.

I find it amazing that so many people gladly tolerate from their political cronies things that would get their kids grounded, and their fannies torn up for embarrassing their parents.

Sometimes a change of evils can shake things up for the better, because suddenly they don't have control over 'evil' anymore like they did before the change.
