Using your logic there doesn't appear to be much difference between drones and private citizens with a camera since each is invading the privacy of a property owner.
Scary. You honestly can't see the difference between a human being and a flying chunk of technology? Also - if a human being is sneaking around your house with a camera, there are appropriate legal remedies. Trespassing is one. My guess is a call to the police would result in some serious questioning also.

But you really are scary to compare the shooting of human beings as the same to shooting flying computers.

Course I'm not the one promoting the falsehood that the only use of drones in a civilian environment is for spying on the citizenry. And it is you who has introduced the notion of trespassing, which was never mentioned in my post, go back and read it more slowly for better comprehension. Besides, those commercial aircraft flying overhead, how do you really know those are passenger planes, or private citizens out for a joy ride.

I bet you would get more prison time for shooting down one of Obama's drones!

The primary difference is that you are an idiot flying a cheap piece of junk, probably while drunk. An inbred moron barely able to string an intelligible sentence together.

On the other side of the coin is an extremely well organized government flying billion dollar technology capable of reading your lips, counting the number of buttons on your shirt, and cabable of launching a missile that could blow you out of your home, car or deer stand.

If you are going to join in the intelligent adult conversations Slo, might as well drop the retard act and try contributing something worth reading.

But overall I am getting something out of this.... a general gist of the apathy of looming technological threats. My God how easily you people are going to die when the time comes and they change the rules of the game.

I, a few years ago posted without Slows "ways offen talkin" and found that very few of the posters could follow correct English "let alones comprehends whats was writ so iz jest kinda quits a written other than likes this here" You should not be so free with name calling. It might just come back as it did before, and bite you in your rear.

Peace to you David.

Drones are already being used in our everyday lives and I saw on Fox news that Amazon is experimenting with using them for deliveries. Just like everything else in our lives it all boils down to the ethics of the operator. When you outlaw them you open up a new illegal enterprise. What needs to be done is laws implemented to keep the owner and operator at bay.
UPS will be experimenting with them also for their deliveries.....

Until you use what's twixt your ears in a more productive manner, which I am well aware you are capable of, then you deserve the term idiot, which is a shame, because you know better. You've got more sense than most, which makes it even a greater dose of dumb. But I understand what you mean. I simply find your quitting of trying to be waste. The floridiots didn't, destroy the land nearly as much as the bankers, Lamar, the money grubbers, realtors etc. And the term floridiots is misplaced. They come from everywhere, even from in the borders.

I accept your peace if it is truly given, and return it. But there will be no resting on the sidelines in what is coming, and it will come to these mountains also.

Drone Phobia by David. This must be David of NCRenegade.com . More conspiracy BS and anti-gov BS. Tea Party BS and scare tactics. Drones will rule the future. So I hope they drop a bomb on David's head....LOL

Seriously, people need to get a life and adapt to the ever so changing future, or be left behind. This mountain conspiracy BS is so ridiculous, but good entertainment.

* I like this last one. Small town in Colorado is voting on an Ordinance to allow "Drone Hunting".
QUESTIONS / SURVEY:
Q1: Do you think Counties in North Georgia should pass laws to make Drones illegal in County Airspace?
Q2: Do you think Counties in North Georgia should pass laws enabling citizens to shoot down drones if they are within say 100 feet of their private residences?(or some predefined distance)
Q3: Do you like the idea of drones used for survelliance in American Airspace on Citizens?
Q4: If the government started mass producing and using drones to spy on Americans, do you support a Citizens right to defend his/her privacy by shooting it down?
NOTE: Gilmer County Commissioners tried to sneak in a "Drone Airbase" that was going to be used for Regional Drone Testing in mountainous terrain. It was part of the Nationwide testing the government is conducting preperatory to their stated intent to put 30,000 Observation Drones in American Airspace. Some of our Gilmer County friends that are helping look into Lamar Paris' behavior were also the people responsible for KILLING that Drone Airbase. Thanks Guys!

What you panic-prone fools aren't aware of is that at least two civilians are flying them around here already, one in Blairsville, the other in/near Brasstown. One does it commercially, the other as a hobby he's had for years, first with R/Cs now UAVs (as opposed to drones).

And as of today, there's at least one more you'll have to hide from! ;o)

What rock are you hiding under? They’ve been able to do that since the late 60s with satellites. It’s called “look-down technology” and has made huge strides since then. Goggle Maps uses their own (shared) bird to do their mapping even. You can even see your house on line. All you have to give is a general address or GPS coordinates. Some birds can be “parked” in orbit and provide live streaming video as well as stills. Drones can loiter over a target for hours, even days now whereas UVS can’t, because of batteries.“Listen-down” technology is in the near future. That’ll really make people like you piss themselves and rush out and buy counter-measures so you can destroy them. But if you do, I’ll tell you this; bring down one owned by law enforcement and it’ll make the asswhipping you took in court seem like a walk in the park.
