Around here we pick up the phone and call a person or business if we've got some business to attend to. Have you tried calling them? It may look like an Internet-enabled town but face-to-face and phone calls are still the way most people communicate.

Are all of your customers from "around here"? When in Rome....you eat like the Romans......serve your customers needs to keep them.....good business is simple.......using the Internet or email should not be a problem in this day and age.

We've been dealing with Ashley at Moore Insurance and she has been very prompt, pleasant and helpful. No complaints.

I have since moved to Blairsville and have dealt with Ashley. She has been most helpful and we do business with this firm.

BUT.....I'm sorry to see the large list of hate mongers that responded to my original comment. I thought I left them all behind in the "big city".

I only will say that the owners would not approve my changing my policy to another Allstate agency when I wanted to do it.

I contacted the insurance company that I have my homeowners policy with and requested a change from my independent insurance agent, Moore Insurance Services, to another agent. The insurance company contacted Moore Insurance Services to get permission to change me to another agent. The letter I received from the insurance company stated, "I submitted the authorization form to your current agent and, unfortunately, the agent declined your request to change agents." Moore Insurance Services declined the request. You may find that you like the insurance company and policy but may prefer to go to another agent. In my case, I will have to cancel my policy with the company I like and go with another company for at least one year, then I can go back to the insurance company I like and to an agent of my choosing.

I'm currently getting quotes from agencies other than Moore. I will be changing agents within the next few days.

No. Moore Insurance Services is on Plott Ave, near the overpass on 515. The Allstate office on the square, which is fairly new, is excellent from all I'm hearing. Moore Insurance Services is an independent agency and sells insurance from Allstate and others.

Moore Insurance Service has an Allstate sign hanging down on the front of the building; however, it's an independent agency. There's a newer Allstate office that's on the square. Moore Insurance Services is beside the real estate office in the small strip mall near the overpass.

After more investigation, the insurance company was at fault, not the independent agency, in requesting additional policies be transferred from the second agency.
