This from a political speech.

Let me get this straight.(This is a long sentence.)

We're going to be gifted with a healthcare plan
we are forced to purchase, and fined if we don't,
which puportedly covers at least 10 million more people,
without adding a single new doctor,
but provides for 16000 new IRS agents,
written by a committee
whose chairman says he doesn't understand it,
passed by a congress that didn't read it
but exempted themselves from it,
and signed by a president who smokes,
with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes,
for which we will be taxed for four years
before any benefits take effect,
by a government which has already backrupted social security
and medicare,
all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese
and financed by a country that's broke.

Little Amos, you should watch this movie called 2016. It will erase all the horror memories you may have left over from the DNC.

Try inviting Oh my and Informed, and let them experience a few horrors courtesy of repubs.

Doesn't it suck to have to provide our own healthcare insurance instead of leeching off responsible Americans who do ?

We deadbeats are entitled to free medical care subsidized by those who actually pay their insurance premiums and medical bills.

Thanks for taking me to see "2016" yesterday. I really liked it. But, I still can't erase the thought of all those women at the DNC convention talking about how Republicans want to take away all their rights and how Reublicans hate women. At the same time they had Bill Clinton giving a speech and a video of Ted Kennedy. Bill Clinton diddled an intern in the oval office and cheated on his wie with other women. Ted Kennedy cheated on his wife and let a girl drown while he swam away. I don't get it.

Thanks for the popcorn and mild duds too, daddy>

Your welcome son, milk duds and popcorn keeps your teeth healthy, not like that green stuff the liberals make you eat.

Those liberals forget that if not for the Repubs loving women, the population would take a nose dive as the demo party has nearly all gone Gay in appearance and in actuality. All those gays coming out of the closet in the demo party and parading around during prime time on TV just gives hope to all those Hollywood types.

Dont give much thought to those demo women, most of them hate men and wish they had facial hair also.

It's the women with hairy legs that bother me; I mean whats the fun of touching a leg thats hairy.

Be careful of Informed Opinion son, he might wanna make you perfection like he is.

Yes, for those who are swayed by innuendo and guilt by association, low information voters will lap it up.

A good movie Dems are afraid to see.

They consider it blasphemy.

Great post.

It begs the question:

Why do low information voters enjoy being low information voters ?

Is it natural human lethargy and laziness,
that prevents them from searching for information,
that is so readily available today on the Internet ?

Is it fear that knowledge will force them to modify the paradigm,
from which they evaluate all things ?

Is it natural insecurity and defensiveness,
that causes them to believe changing their minds is a sign of weakness ?

Is it that the comfort of being a member of a "pack",
overcomes the knowledge that the "pack" might be wrong ?

Right now, my money is on natural lethargy and laziness -(M. Scott Peck - "The Road Less Traveled" - is a good source).

Just a thought.

Yeah, sort of like "The Inconvenient Truth" and "Farenheit 911".
My teacher made us watch those bs movies until I thought I would puke.

Guess it depends on which side of the fence you're on.

Which school, class, and grade were you in that the teacher forced this upon you multiple times?

Little Amos was accelerated from 1st grade into college. He knows math so well he could teach you how to add 1 + 1. He also can teach you how to answer a yes or no question....

Since you are a school teacher, I'm pretty sure you already know the answer to your question.

Apparently your accelerated grade placement was a bit premature since you've skipped the lessons that explain the difference between deductive reasoning based on facts and unfounded assumptions.

That would be a yes or no question and he's not qualified to answer such.

You must feel you deserve it. I understand that you have a choice of viewing "The Inconvenient Truth" or "Farenheit 911", perhaps this is why you were 'forced' to watch it so many times.
