love good food

My neighbors kept telling me about a little café’ out passed the Ace Hardware off Old Blue Ridge Hwy. Today my husband and I took a ride out there. The food was great and reasonable and we enjoyed talking with the people eating there.

They have a drive thru and outdoor seating. Don’t worry it’s heated.
They also have wireless Internet

We tried the Southwestern Paninis and the double decker BLT
The price for each was $4.50(real good price) Don’t forget to try the BREAD PUDDING! Took some home and it was so good.

It’s open for lunch Tues - Friday 11am - 2pm
Saturday 11am - 4pm

It’s at the corner of Mulkey Gap on Blue Ridge Hwy.
36 Kiutuestia Creek Road

Just thought I would pass the information on for those that don’t know about this place.

Let’s keep the mom and pops places in business. It will be open all winter.
Nice guy

A total of 17 open hours a week and all for lunch eliminates those who can't leave work for lunch or those a little to far to get there and eat. To bad not an evening or two.

Would you like to work one night?
Give them a break, they work real hard the hours they are open.
I do understand where you are coming from, but you always have Saturday's. If you work close, you can call in your order and pick it up at the drive through.
Remember, they put in alot more hours than the hours they are open, there is much to be done before opening or closing daily.

Just a side note, I am not employed nor friends with the owner, just enjoy their food and friendly people

Hey don't worry about it.
For what it's worth, I was not that impressed about the place.
Too Touristy for me.
Food was ok but nothing special.
McDonalds is just as good and I quit eating there a long time ago.

They should have breakfast, it would be nice to have a local drive thru where you can get a homemade biscuit and a nice cup of coffee or hot chocolate.

Too "touristy"? How can a yellow trailer with an awning be "touristy"?

I agree, i go by there in the mornings and I'd stop if they were open for breakfast. I wish they would consider it, it's not handy for me to come at lunch. Plus, I take my lunch to work most of the time, but I always stop and get me something for breakfast.

Food is great, service better. Something different, not franchise or fast food that has become the norm in todays society. Root for the small business owner

Please believe I meant no harm to the business.
It just isn't a place for me.
Many others do seem to like it.
