Why do MY Taxes pay for YOUR Irresponsible Behavior?

I take care of myself, no govt. help here. I have land, no kids, and therefore don't qualify for ANY breaks. I pay school tax because I am forced to as part of my taxes.

I don't live with my parents. I am totally self-sufficient and proud of it!

I am the one penalized. I pay for your abortions, your welfare, your school taxes, your drug treatment, your special needs kids, your free school lunches, your free peachkid medical care.

I pay numerous other taxes besides these, because of irresponsible people in the USA, namely YOU!

I am the one who should be, and has every right to be PISSED OFF.

Take some responsibility. Have some pride, take some initiative and Get off your Fat Asses - pay MY tax and see how it feels.

You could always move to a third world country. You wouldn't have anything to worry about unless someone don't like you! If you don't have medical insurance and need it, that's you fault. You probably can get it one way or another. If nothing else, there are free non government related medical clinics available.
If you are starving and don't have food, that's your fault. People who can't afford medical insurace or food can get help through both the government and shelter's available.
It sounds like you have your own problem's to sort out without trying to point a finger at those who are truly less fortunante.

I believe the poster has his head on mighty straight and since you can even admit to yourself how much you rely on non-essential luxuries in life, you take them for granted. You probably believe your estate is more valuable than land. You are the one with a twisted interpretation of freedom. I bet you couldn't live without electricity for a week without going crazy. Well, first, peachcare is not free. It's based on your income so you do have to pay a premium.

Second, i don't buy into your story, i bet only a portion of it is true. I also bet that if you had to go on unemployment or disability or medicaid or whatever, then you'd change your tune.

And last, some people have come to hard times with the economy, and they worked hard and paid taxes too, so the way I see it, they are drawing some of what THEY paid in, just like you may have to do in the future. What what you complain about, you could be next.

Curious, I think your gripe is with the wrong individuals, you need to complain about paying all those taxes and watching it go for trips, clothing, bonuses, extravagent dinners, vacations, etc. etc. with our elected officials, not a childs education or welfare....no one is getting rich on welfare, but there are alot getting rich that don't deserve it and without even lifting a finger for YOU! Thank your elected goverment officials who sit back and do very little and draw a huge paycheck, that's where you should be complaining, not about feeding a starving child!!!!

i agree with you. why do us taxpayers have have to take on the rest of people's burdens? i see people who file bankruptcy all the time still driving nice cars and buying expensive stuff. that makes me very mad too.

Amen sister!!! I see poor old people on social security trying to pay all their bills and barely getting by. Most have worked hard all their lives and would never think about taking any form of welfare. Then I see these young unwed mothers, who are strong as an ox, who are bleeding the welfare system dry. First medicaid takes over and pays all their medical bills, next comes more assistance in the form of food stamps, WIC, and help finding them a place to live, of course again paid by our tax dollars then low and behold they get their utilities paid. I think if the parents of these unwed mothers were left to pick up the tab on all this irresponsibility, there would less promiscuity and fewer babies. I say help the old people who have worked hard and paid their way all their life and help the young people who are studying and working hard trying to get an education. We need to quit rewarding all this bad behavior with free handouts.

you are so right. and those welfare recipients are usually the ones you see driving nice cars and spending money in the stores. i have seen this first hand!
