Actually, you are rigjt to a certain extent. Some of the chemicals in Easy Off will remove a portion of the fibreglass gel coat. The gel coat is what makes the fibreglass glossy and protects the fibreglass underneath. Repeated use of Easy Off will eventually remove all the gel coat then, your enclosure will be dull and will hold stains. Removing and replacing these enclosures can be an expensive proposition since the enclosure is attached to the wall studs then overlapped with dry wall.
I assure you that if the folks at Easy Off thought their product was great for cleaning fibreglass, they would put the concotion in another container and market it as fibrglass cleaner.
Now, about those chicken legs....
Just about everything eats into gel coat to a degree, even water as if evidenced by blisters on boats stored in water, however that being said, easy off is comprised of a solution of sodium hydroxide (lye) which is a strong base, which shouldn't degrade a polymer coating (polyester resin, epoxy) to a large degree.

Actually, I was jaywalking in front of the Blairsville Adult Toy Emporium, where you nearly ran me over...I'll never forget the smell of your exotic perfume, coconut and sea urchin I believe, and the beauty of your hair, which flowed like strands of silk in a island breeze.

As was once said by Earnest T Bass, "I think I Love You.

You're very astute. My primary drink consists of fresh coconut milk (from trees growing on my property) with a small amount of freshly grated nutmeg, it tastes good and is loaded with minerals and essential amino acids to boot.

I tried the product and it really worked. But I'm still trying to clean the portion more better near the drain hole.. it's still a little dirty. I plan to retry again. But far as the walls of the shower, it's clean...it worked well.

We have porcelain/real tile tubs and shower stalls, not pre-fab fiberglass or acrylic, like you do. Sorry, I can't be of more help. I would be careful of using something harsh on the cheap fiberglass ones like you have. Oven cleaner is very harsh whether fume free or not. you may end up having to replace the fiberglass with real material that will last.

Funny, did I understand you correctly to say you have "real" porcelain and tile ...??!!?? Do you mean that acrylic or fiber glass is a figment of imagination, or it doesn't exist??!!?? I learned in my schools that if something wasn't "real", it didn't exit. Kinda like the boogie man ...! I don't usually get into these exchanges because there is usually no reasoning with ignorance and for someone to make judgemental comments like this and some of the others i've seen here and on this topic simply shows - that- and that you have nothing better or constructive to do with your life. Geezez ... Lmao! People! Get a healthy hobbie - go jogging - put something in your mouth to stop the hemorrhaging ...!
