The Great and Powerful oz has spoken!<quoted text>
Wrong again, I was around, and paying attention – oh confused one.
Do I dare ask why so much anger and racism? Oh pardon me; are you still claiming to be a “moderate” republican?
Well never mind that, have you been around for the past four (4) years, have you heard that Obama has increased the deficit more within his term of office than all the former Presidents put together? Any idea what the deficit is?
Speaking of incompetence, buffoonery, destruction of America? You will find the definition under Barack Hussein Obama!

The Wizard of Oz,(1900), widely considered the most popular of American fairy tales.
This is the story of Dorothy Gale (played by Judy Garland). Ignored by foster‐parents on a bleak farm in Kansas, she is transported by a cyclone to the utopia of Oz.
Dorothy, however, wants to return home, and sets out to find the Wizard for help.
On her quest, she encounters a Scarecrow, Tin Woodman, and Cowardly Lion seeking a brain, a heart, and courage.
The Wizard refuses to help unless they kill the Wicked Witch of the West. Dorothy accidentally does this, but Oz cannot keep his promise because he is not really a wizard.
He does, however, bestow the physical attributes of the intelligence, compassion, and valour that the trio have demonstrated all along.
In the end, it is Dorothy who takes herself home: she has learned that her silver shoes (ruby slippers in the film) have always held the power to fulfil her dreams.
Dorothy's journey to Oz and back is therefore a child's quest of self‐discovery, a rite of passage in which she overcomes challenges by learning to use her talents.
Indeed a great story for children, and seems adults alike.
What a shame you have muddled through a life time, and never learned anything from it.
Certainly, your character must be the that of the Wicked Witch of the West.
Some friendly advice – read the book or watch the film again.
This time pay attention; try to learn the lessons taught, life is fleeting.

Thanks, I find that many of the far left babbles,are worth no more than a brief scan, and then skip on to those with rational thoughts and opinions.

sorry I missed your big meltdown yesterday. all that chevy says this and chevy says that and chevy thinks this.
your "facts" are based on what you have read and believed only because they fit your agenda like if its printed in the Washington Post it is true..right?
you cannot refute the FACT that Bush is no longer the President. you see, his term expired in 2007. That is when your man Barack Hussein (what me worry?) Obama became President
please don't tell me what I think or say about Iraq. FACT is I left a very important part of my body there so now I prop my new metal one up in the corner before I go to bed each night but I was one of the lucky ones
in summary all you do is to repeat over and over the same old worn out stuff you get from the liberal media then present as facts
btw darth vader isnt real either. Just a characotr from star wars.

Thank God for your firm grip on reality...
Just a few facts garnered from the deceitful liberal media and their equally unreliable cohorts on the internet. And while Bush may no longer be President, most rational people understand the causal relationship between the events of yesterday and their influence the choices of today.
The first inauguration of Barack Obama as the 44th President of the United States took place on Tuesday, January 20, 2009.

Chevy, thanks for your service, it appears your posting are mostly on target. However, beware of disingenuous and sarcastic far left liberals in sheep’s clothing; they are an ambush in the waiting.

Look, we all know you're embarrassed.
You are so lazy and willingly uninformed, you never believed those of us not afraid of a little effort would take the opportunity to slap your silly statements across the room.
You made a silly, irrational, childish statements that were stuffed back down the 'Ol Pie Hole.
Thankfully, your claim was so insipidly ludicrous, it only took 20 minutes to demonstrate its idiocy. Those of us who research facts before reaching our conclusion found it child's play.
Sorry that your planet's inhabitants have ignored facts for so long they don't even recognize them anymore.
- The specific numbers for the national debt when Bush/Cheney seized power don't convince you he almost doubled the national debt.
- Your intellectual challenges means that even though Bush proudly announced his invasions and attacks in the Middle East, and rode "Bitch" on a jet so he could stand on an aircraft carrier and taunt our enemies to kill as many Americans as they could, and even after providing you the casualty numbers for American troops killed and wounded in the Middle East, and the civilians killed,
you still pretend we aren't at war.
- Even though Bush and Cheney proudly announce their implementation of Ronnie Ray-Gun, "urinate down" economics, confirmed by the Congressional Budget Office, your still have to pretend that Bush's unfunded tax cuts for the rich didn't result in wealth transfer from the middle class to the rich.
That headache you are experiencing might be that the tin foil wrapped around your skull is just a tiny bit tight.
Let me know if you need any proof of any other indisputable facts - like say, the age of the Earth, or that we figured out some time ago it's not flat.

I have to admit you have proven one thing
One big fact
You are a big as-hole. thanks for clearing that up
#92 Feb 18, 2013
Now, now, next time you want to challenge facts,
just pick facts not so easy to prove.
Have a great day !
#93 Feb 18, 2013
You've made my day (President's Day, no less) with this!! Some posters just run their mouths, you back it up.
#94 Feb 18, 2013
If you feel that the liberal media is so deceitful how do you know that 2007 is a typo. Since we should selectively determine facts for ourselves, how are we to know where to begin and where to end.
Tell us, why do the events of yesterday have no bearing on the choices of today. Do you truely feel that Republican policies from 2001-2008 had no bearing on the choices available in 2009 and beyond.

God save us from idiots like Oh My!
Oh, and save us from idiots like Yep- too!
Betwixt the far left and far right polarizing, mind numbingly and galactically stupid entrenched stubborness of your types it is a miracle the country isn't in full scale civil war by now. People like you guys really are the problem. Arrogant jackaSS know it alls that find it impossible to LISTEN and have true dialogue. Its all just about winning and losing - so everyone loses and our political and social environment has settled into a constant state war.

The Oh So Concerned Troll raises it's head,
Here's a clue,
only looks like the far left
cause we're deep-seated in an area
that has voted right-of-center since the 1990's.
If you're So Concerned with meaningful dialogue, then stick to a username and we'll start a meaningful conversation, propose some middle-of-the-road thoughts, and be willing to have folks disagree with you. Course you'll need to stick with a username to claim your positions, betcha can't do it.

more far left babble.
What's it say,
just more made up facts
that only serve an agenda...
"Bush did succeed in removing Saddam Hussein, but it turned out there were no weapons of mass destruction and no significant operational ties between Saddam's regime and Al Qaeda. That is, the two main assertions used by Bush and his crew to justify the war were not true."
"Hubris": New Documentary Reexamines the Iraq War "Hoax"
An MSNBC film, hosted by Rachel Maddow and based on Michael Isikoff and David Corn's book, finds new evidence that Bush scammed the nation into war.
—By David Corn | Sat Feb. 16, 2013 5:11 AM PST
A decade ago, on March 19, 2003, President George W. Bush launched the invasion of Iraq that would lead to a nine-year war resulting in 4,486 dead American troops, 32,226 service members wounded, and over 100,000 dead Iraqi civilians. The tab for the war topped $3 trillion. Bush did succeed in removing Saddam Hussein, but it turned out there were no weapons of mass destruction and no significant operational ties between Saddam's regime and Al Qaeda. That is, the two main assertions used by Bush and his crew to justify the war were not true. Three years after the war began, Michael Isikoff, then an investigative reporter for Newsweek (he's since moved to NBC News), and I published Hubris: The Inside Story of Spin, Scandal, and the Selling of the Iraq War, a behind-the-scenes account of how Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney, and their lieutenants deployed false claims, iffy intelligence, and unsupported hyperbole to win popular backing for the invasion...

You can't have a rational conversation with Right Wingers because they refuse to acknowledge facts and reasoned analysis.
Just read Chevy's posts and your own.
We Moderates, Progressives, and Liberals post supporting documentation for our positions.
Right Wingers ignore all facts that demonstrate the their positions are unsupported.
How do you "discuss" anything with folks who believe:
- that the Earth is 6,000 years old;
- that Obama is a secret plant from Kenya in a conspiracy hatched at his birth;
- that tax cuts for the rich didn't result in another Trillion Dollar on the debt;
- that global warming is not occurring even as they watch the glaciers at Glacier National Park are disappearing;
- while proclaiming themselves to be Christians - fight against everything and anything Christ ever taught;
- that the the ever increasing gap between the rich and all others, and the destruction of socio-economic mobility - is a good thing;
when all facts prove the opposite ?
When Right Wingers join us on Planet Earth, we can discuss reality.
I actually admire Romney for admitting he thinks half of Americans, the working class half), are useless parasites that need to be kicked into the ditch so the Rich (his buddies) get to be richer.
Hey, he's your man.- either he's a liar, or he really thinks 47% of Americans are useless parasites.
Damn, those pesky facts.
