Trying to find a new hair stylist. Any recs?

Someone who will listen to what you want,is good with color & won't cut your hair all off.

I have had so many bad experiences it's hard to find a good stylist here.

Asking a question like this will start a big debate about who is the best.....just ask some of your close friends who they go. If you see someone that has a cute cut - ask them who their stylist is. I go out to Bariki and personally love them - Heidi cuts my hair.

Hi Rose - One person's favorite is another person's disaster when it comes to hair.

When you see a hair style that you like, ask the woman who cuts their hair. You'll find great hairdressers in the mountains.

Regina at Cut Loose is very good. I have tried many in the past and always ended up going back to her. I can get impolsive at times when it comes to getting my hair cut. When she hasn't had an opening on the day that I wanted it done, I went to anyone who could get me in and never ended up with what I wanted. I will never do that again!

go to glow....they have recently expanded and now have a spa section and a facial room..and they arent highly over priced, and i have never had trouble with anyone not acknowledging me upon entering the salon, like another salon i know. i dont know why it is so hard for this salon to understand that someone greeting you instead of just letting you sit there until you finally have to ask for help, isnt good business practice. and also, when i am looking to buy products, i dont like having to go to the girl at the computer and wait on her to look up the price everytime i want to know a price. that just gets annoying...price your products, please!

Has it occurred to anyone that these posters could be promoting themselves under their "handels" ???? I think you have to go into a real city for a modern and good haircut/color. Lots of these local hairdressers work on retirees and elderly people's hair, since that is the majority of the population here. Hey, just my opinion.

I agree- Go to GLOW! A great place in Blairsville. The stylist named Glory is absolutely great with color! Does a fantastic job. Every time I get my hair done, I have loads of compliments on it. I highly recommend her.

I am sitting here laughing my butt off at just a stupid post. I am retired, and I have always been perfectly satisfied with my cut and color from my stylist in Blairsville. I will not put her name on here, because I respect her. By the way, my friends from the big city, drive to Blairsville to get a cut and color at her salon, so much for your opinion. I would have to be a complete idiot to drive to the city every time I needed a haircut, my time is important to me. Of course, more power to you if you want to drive a hundred miles, but I bet my cut and color would look better than yours on a bad hair day.
