Things must not be gettin any better for the employees over there either, i was talking to some the other day and several of them are trying to get the union in there now so that they will be treated fairly and have some protection. I wonder what the board thinks of this and if they are asking questions now or are they still just letting whatever matt wants still happen

In the last article written about this incredibly crazy debate over whether Taylors"s meter was not working properly.... ok, there was a staement made that the bigger problem is that there was someone in the company that leaked personal information and that is what the bigger problem was. My hat is off to the person who had the guts to let this injustice out. I know too many people who have had their power cut off for less than $100.00, regardless is it was winter, summer or you were healthy or sick. SOMETHING needs to be done for the people who are under this monstrous company we come to know as our electric company

There is some good people who work at the EMC. Many or church deacons and volunteers in quality charitable programs. It is the 5 or 6 scum bags that call themselves management that need to go. They make the decisions to allow such things as letting Taylor have an outstanding bill of close to $50,000 while they cut off people for $100. The directors must be changed as well as these 5 or 6 people who feel like they own the world. Vote on line for 3 directors and sign the petition to rid the EMC of the other directors which are not up for reelection as well as the 5 scumbags. |

Did you read he letter to the editor this week about the elderly lady who was recovering from a stroke who had to walk 1000 feet to a neighbor's house to report the EMC had cut her power off for non payment of her bill. The neighbor paid her bill but the EMC told the neighbor there would be a $50.00 reconnection fee. Totally unfair and why did taylor not get the same treatment? Read the letter. It made my blood boil. Written by Kathleen Lowery, and very well written and to the point. |

I read the letter and I am sure that poor lady was not by herself in her unfair treatment by the BRMEMC. I am just as mad as anyone at the lying lowlifes that run the EMC. I cast my vote and I hope everyone else will also. Unfortunately I think the deadline for online voting was yesterday but I could very well be wrong. I can't imagine why they would stop a day early unless they need that time to fix the election. I understand that Tuesday morning 2000 people had already voted and I'm sure most of those were against the incumbents. Before you start throwing admiration to the North Ga. News remember that a TV Channel started all this and the NGN would never have opened the can of worms if they hadn't. If they were going to print the truth the county is full of corruption and all the paper does is help them to cover it up. |

I wonder why Duncan jumped on the ban wagon to go after brmemc. what is his problem that he can't go after the rest of the county and the corruption going on there? It might be called a real newspaper. |
