Typical attitude of police and ex-police. Main reason crime rate is high.
Just take a report and forget it is their attitude.
"Serious crimes should be investigated by an impartial agency like the GBI which doesn't have a dog in the fight."
Typical pass the buck attitude of local police.
First they don't want to be hassled by petty crimes so all they do is file a report quickly so they can go to the coffee shop.
Next they want to push serious crimes off on someone else quickly so they can go to the coffee shop.
This is the problem with crime in America, This poster showed the real true spirit of the sorry side of leaders not cleaning the house of bad apples.

I have been really disappointed with the change of Judges. I was hoping that the change would be a good one... I have not seen accountability there as of yet either... has anyone else...im trying to give them the change to follow the law but have not seen that in either one of the new ones.... heck does any attorney even know the law???

It would be damage to county property and charges could be brought. I find it highly unlikely....

I have been around topix for a long time. Nothing has changed, still the same lunatics spouting the same crap. First, ya gotta prove they intentionally ruined property. More power to them if they fk'd the place up for Mason and his 'new' goons.

This type of childish mentality is WHY the county voted in a new sheriff. We as taxpayers have to pay for all this stupidity. You all need to grow up and give up, Mason won. Thank God.

It's time to get the department running proficiently. Whats done is done, it's the past, it's time to get some people in these jobs, put some qualified people in this county to work. You can make a choice again in 4 years.

Boy you are a mean spirited individual. I think it is time for you to take a lesson in manners. I would call you names but the moderator wouldn't like it so lets just be cordial! The fact is there are more and more people finding out what has been going on in this County and they don't like it. It is sort of like an ball rolling down a hill picking up speed. The good thing is the voters made a choice and they expect changes. The onlt way Mason will be re-elected is if he makes positives changes and runs a open and transparent SO.

People that trash the efforts of others to expose wrong doing really confuse me. Why would someone object to wrong doing being exposed. If someone has the answer please share it with me.

Those that are objecting to exposing the truth are the ones that have probably been caught with their hand in the cookie jar. They are most likely looking at jail time and it scares the hell out of them, which it should. I believe they should be held fully accountable for all their actions, and not just the trashing indident but previous occurences as well. After all they were hired to uphold the law and not violate it.

Perhaps the thing to have done would have been to rout Mr. Duncan out of bed @ 12:00am and let him record the mess for posterity. Nothing better than public shame.

I have been reading through this post and am slightly confused... exactly what was damaged and/or erased? If true, was this not documented when the new administration came in? With physical evidence, then justice will prevail...

On a side note, I really wish you would start clarifying who the "scum" are. I knew a couple of the officers and jailers that lost their jobs and would never group them in with "scum". I know I'm going to catch hell for that, but really don't care...

Gossip, these idiots don't know half the time what they are writing about. That's my question, too. What damage? Define it?

I agree with you. I know many of the officers and they were good officers. People can't name names, either. In fact, I've always like UCSO and so do most of the people I know. We've always had good service from UCSO and our street and the surrounding area WAS patrolled regularly. Haven't seen a patrol car since the new regime took over. Neighbors have noticed the same and we aren't happy about it.
