I had a problem with the Jehovah Witness organization when my mother was alive. Their mail and visits continued after until I finally connected with the local leader of them (maybe a pastor). He took my complaint serious and made sure her address and all contact info was taken off their list. They have records on you and unless you get serious they will keep coming. To date they have made no contacts.

I have had to get loud and nasty with those whack jobs. They are rude and disrespectful by assuming that they can impose themselves on your beliefs, and coming on ones property uninvited. What do other people do to rid themselves of these nut pods?
That's odd, I have the same problem with people from every other faith in town doing the same thing. If I want to go to your church, I'll meet you in the parking lot.

We all know those Baptist . Sit in church and holy roll then get out and break every commandment in the Christian way! At least here in North GA.
That's not enough they must complain about other religions.

Once I ran out of my house naked and covered in fake blood carrying a large butcher knife yelling "I killed her! I Killed her!" They hit the road and promptly called the police. By then I was already showered and relaxing when they came up and asked what happened. I was like, "I was rehearsing a part in a play." They laughed and left. Next time though, think I'll just tell them I believe in evolution and hand them a pamphlet on Pokemon.

Better read your Bible! Keeping the Commandments don't get you to Heaven!

I believe when you turn your life over to Christ you will enjoy reading His Word (the Bible). You will find greater literary works as well as truth and wisdom to help you along the way.

"Mathew" with one t is not in the New Testament.

The question is: "How do you know when YOU read the The King James Version that YOU will go to heaven?

I did find in Matthew 25 the final judgement: The Sheep and the Goats that Jesus did not teach salvation by WORKS--he taught the necessity of a conversion (an internal reorientation toward Jehovah's grace), which results in a life of obedience.

So, Timmy, does reading the KJV version of the Bible make you a Sheep or a Goat.

LW you don't need to go on the defensive.

Truth does not depend how I interpret it.

I am asking you what is your interpretation of living God's Grace?

The more important question is:

If you died tonight, how do you know you will go to heaven?

Will you get eternal life because you read your Bible or only a certain version, as Timmy believes... Do you think the KJV interpretation of the Bible that was written a language we do not speak in normal conversation is the only Word of God, or is it because you are loved by your Creator? Is it because you try to please Him "by living for Him" and succeed, or fail to please Him and apologize? Or is it because He wants to be your loving Father?

Truth will set you free, L. W.

I know from God's Word (Bible) that Jesus was born and lived among men. He died for my sins and rose again. I was convicted of my sins as a young girl and asked God to forgive the things I had done. Jesus came to live within my heart. Yes, I do believe I will go to Heaven. As of today I know without a doubt that I am going to Heaven. I read the King James Version of the Bible and I prefer it for my Bible study. There are many versions for a person to chose but as for me I prefer the KJV. I don't care how you talk with or without an accent foreign to mine that has nothing to do with the version of the Bible. If you are talking about "speaking in tongues", fine but have an interpreter so all can hear your speech. I can't be good in men's eyes and I don't care. I want God's favor and it is to please Him. I know He is my Father, and when I arrive in Heaven I want to see Jesus then I want to see my parents. I am not interested in the splendor but in the peace of finally being home with the Lord.

I never said you get eternal life from reading the Bible. The only way you get to Heaven is to be SAVED!!!!!!!!
