Irreguardless of what some will say.... I think Sheriff Stephens and his force of men along with the G.B.I. should be commended for their prompt and professional attention to this horrible crime. God be with this family and our family of Law Enforcement officers as they attempt to deal with this situation. God bless you all!!!!!!!!!!

Something is terribly wrong with our society these days .... more and more in the weekly newspaper I see young people not married to each other but having babies .... it's like it's epidemic. Can someome explain this phenomena when current kids are far more sexually educated about pregnancy and STD prevention than any generation in our entire history. What's so surprising is this area is God's country where there's a church on every corner. Those two young peoples' lives are ruined forever .... the baby was only 4 weeks old .... young people need to stop and think before it's too late and they get in over their heads.

A generation ago women went to college to earn their MRS. Degree, then settle down and have kids. Now days, girls in high school just want to get knocked up and have child, collect their WIC, EBT, WELFARE, and just have the babies daddy stop by every now and then. And we the taxpayers will pay for that and many more kids, without the benefit of counting them as a dependant on our income taxes. This is why their must be welfare reform NOW.

Do you really think this is the time to be preaching this. Have some tact.

I ate at another nearby restaurant for Thanksgiving, and the food was terrible. Didn't get sick from the food, but what we paid for that sorry meal made us sick. We will not go back. Our Coffee was served in a styrofoam cup, now that is bad service. I could have bought better food from the Ingles deli.

Why don't you ask this in a forum all it's own entitled 'sick eating Thanksgiving at Brasstown Lodge'? BTW, we also ate out Thanksgiving .... worst meal I've ever had .... Stove Top is better than what they served .... won't make that mistake again .... the only saving grace is that we didn't have to eat turkey and dressing for a week or more.
