Well if no one but Payton and Conley runs it looks like Conley will win hands down. I just saw Payton's ad in the paper and he has shot himself in the foot. The man is EDUCATED and everyone knows that Blairsville is much better off being run by an uneducated fool. Look how far we have come til now. Let us hope we don't have a lot of educated voters. They might mess up and elect a man who has done something with his life.

I think Frank is the man to get this town in order. Elect Frank. Write him in!

Good to hear from you Reb. You need to come back and get this bunch straightened out. I think he has something else in mind but if enough people were to approach him who knows. He would be the best choice.

Frank Pack would make a excellent candidate.

As mayor I know he would not kissing up to Paris.

One more way to break the corruption going on in Union County!

Do you folks not see all the good Jim Conley has done? Well just let me point how just how good a mayor he has been. He has improved the huh, huh, huh well I'll think of something in a minute. You will have to admit that he follows orders very well. Every time the Dynamic duo tells him to jump he ask how high. I'll be back as soon as I can think of something constructive he has done.

There would be no Dynamic duo running Blairsville any more if Frank Pack was elected mayor.

Look at Conley's place and then start your junkyard trash. At least Pack does work and has a reason for equipment. Conley lives in the middle of a trash hole and preaches about working people. It's time for people who work for a living to stand up and tell the bigots of the town to get lost.

Okay. Fine. Run for mayor and convince the folks in Blairsville that you're the best candidate. Utilize the democratic form of government that makes this country a great place to live.

Their will be a great candidate. One that has spent his life doing something instead of chasing his next drink. Has raised his family instead of deserting them and letting them fend for themselves. One who has served this country while the big mouths of the city sit at home and did nothing. One who has advanced his education instead of sitting on his laurels and living with mama. One that has the intelligence to make this city into a decent place to live for all it's residents and not letting people who don't even live in the city decide it's future. One that will use the office for what it was intended and not to further the cause of money grubbing hypocrites and for personal vendetta. In other words a man who has the balls, the knowledge, the courage and the backbone to give this town to it's citizens and to take it away from those who would destroy it to put another nickle in their pocket. I hope you are ready for such a candidate because that day is close at hand. By the way the Junkyard slander is old news and I would suggest you come up with something else.

I've done business with Frank Pack for 15 yrs. I think he's a little eccentric, but he's a hard working, moral person. Just had some financial problems due to the '08 economy collapse. I think he could be trusted to make the right decisions.

Franks problems could have been caused by some of Lamars illegal R/W's on property he bought. He is a honest moral guy.

Yes someone good is running for office in Blairsville.

The tax payers in the city need to pay attention.

I wonder if the city will be offering rides to the voters this year for votes for Conley?

Obviously, you speak of Frank Pack, I agree he would make an excellent Mayor.

Frank knows Blairsville, loves our Community, and would alway do what he believed to be in the best interest of the entire County.

I agree with you but I think this person is talking about the candidate that is running Tom Payton.

He has real good ads and seems like he would be a great candidate to help clean up the corruption going on in this town.

I'm still waiting for the proof of anything wrong. All I read is whining and whimpering instead of anything constructive. Corrupt? Just offer proof. I'm waiting....

Iím sure Mr. Payton's intentions are honorable. And he is certainly deserving of notice and respect for his efforts. I wish him well in his endeavors.

Nevertheless, in my view, he doesnít appear to understand the full nature of the complexities, nor the determination of the powers in control in the local political area.

Although, I believe him to be sincere, and he appears to be a good man, I have primary concerns with regards to his ability to withstand the fierce encounters for which he doesnít appear prepared or willing to fight.

The issues addressed are indeed worthy of attention; nevertheless, I believe they are too shallow to bring him to victory, particularly, if he persists in his unwillingness to engage the Mayor with regards to mishandlings of the real core issues.

On the other hand, Frank Pack, KNOWS Blairsville/Union County, he KNOWS the politics, he KNOWS exactly what must be done.

He has the, ability, will, knowledge, and intestinal fortitude to get the job done.

He KNOWS where the bones are buried; he KNOWS who is acting in our best interests, and who isnít. This is and has been Franks home, this is his life and Heritage, he, as you and I, is tired of the waste, the lack of responsive leadership, the constant increasing in taxes and lack of accountability in spending, and the double standards.

Very simply Frank Pack is the man for Mayor of Blairsville.

Nothing in this posting is intended to besmirch Mr. Payton. I guess what I am suggesting is that sometime you find folks that are so well meaning that it encourage less desirable elements to take advantage of their good nature.

Most everyone knows Frank, and with that said we all know that sometimes you just need a bull dog that just doesnít quit, and is tough enough, and determined enough to get the job done.

And, my friends, that is exactly what Blairsville needs at this precise point in time.

ELECT FRANK PACK MAYOR OF BLAIRSVILLE GEORGIA!!!!

I agree with you but we will need to get behind any candidate that runs against the fruitless council and mayor we are currently stuck with. If you live in the city vote for a new and honest govt. and if you don't live in the city talk to the friends you have in the city. Hopefully we will have several candidates to choose from.
