Frank should not run for mayor, because we need him to run for county commissioner instead. I would be very likely to vote for him.

Didn't he run for mayor already? How many votes did he get? Didn't he try to run for commissioner, but was disqualified?

Well Hero why don't you clue us in since you are so knowledgeable. Don't see what a previous election has to do with anything. Ever heard of Harold Cook. People are tired of the same ole A holes running everything. If he runs he will win.

Well it seems the city dwellers are as anxious for some change as the county. I look for a dark horse to enter the race in the near future. Most people who know Tony Dyer realize that he has more than one face and would be easily bought out by the same ones who run the city now.
Jim Conley has already shown through his life and accomplishments that he is not and has never been qualified to run this city. It takes him full time to do what other have been able to do part time. He doesn't even own property in the city so why should he care what your property taxes might be.
Mahan is certainly not intelligent enough to run the city. I understand her and her Husband have just had the scam of the century pulled on them and they are so dumb they haven't realized it yet.
Some have mentioned Pack but I think he would most likely be running for councilman.
Whoever runs will need to stop the trend to run the city like the county which is in the red.

you have eliminated everyone interested so why dont you get ahold of Goober Pyle to see if he would be interested in running. with that name he would fit right in as mayor of Gooberville.

Do we know the same Tony Dyer? Known him for years and the one thing he isnt is two faced. Lots dont like his opinion or his point of view but he doesnt change it for others favors. Don't know about Mahan's scame so can't say anything about that.

I think Frank Pack should become Mayor. Lamar would have a lot off butt kissing to do but Lamar would not get the time of day and the city might be able to dig out of debt. Absolutely no ties to the old commish. Lamars past land dealings could come back to haunt him forever. And save Blairsville.

Now if Frank does not run it would be interesting to see Tony Dyer get elected.

Why????????

Lamar was so obnoxious and mean and loved to belittle Tony in public, it would be interesting to see if Tony was Mayor of Blairsville to see just how far Lamar would go to kiss his butt.

Could prove to be a very interesting time in the history of Union County.

What goes around comes around…….

To my knowledge he hasn't run for Mayor before.

However, when he ran for Council, he only lost by one or two votes, without even organizing a campaign.

Yep, that’s pretty good, and that is the point worthy of consideration.

You trying to make a point or just showing your ignorance. It's time you fools stopped living in the past. A new day is dawning in this county and people like you will not be needed.
