I agree. I refused to eat there anymore because of some pig nosed snotty worker. She treated my family and I very bad a few times. Talking among the gentlemen I work with they've also said she was a rude waitress/cashier. Not good.

A person told me that a group of 4 went there about 2 yrs. ago and asked that the ceiling fan speed be lowered because it was cold. They said they wouldn't do it. There were no other seats. They haven't been back since.

It looks like there are 7 very whiny people who are no longer Rib Country customers. Poor Rib Country. Now they will have to close down. Bet you didn't tip either.

Bet this is one of the rib country employee (this is the attitude you would get there). I do happen to know were Pam went to it's the golf course the view grill restaurant. A small venue but the prices and for sure the customer service is worth the visit. I will say that I have known many people that have worked at rib country and they treat there employee like crap ( and are worse to the illegal ones in the back). Not a good company for this town. For you money jimmys smokin Q on 129 totally worth the drive good people and better food.

Nasty food, terrible service.
The thing I hate is they start cleaning, stacking chairs, and spraying cleaner before closing time while customers are still seated and eating. That is absolutely gross. 8 years ago, Rib Country was pretty good. Not anymore.

Jim's Smokin' Q has it goin' on for good food.

Jim's Smokin' Q has it goin' on for good food.
Most places do start cleaning early when customers come in within 5 minutes of closing. One of my favorite things to hear when a customer walks in is " what time do you close?" You tell them and they say oh good we made it just in time. Really how rude is it to go in 5 minutes before a place closes.

OK, seriously now. If Rib Country was rated the best place to eat in the entire country with the best service, the best food and of course, the best ceiling fans and the best prices, people on this forum would still complain and whine because that/s what they do.

How long will it be when all of you who say you like Jimmy's Smokin Q start complaining about having to stand in line to place your order? Or, there isn't enough parking or you think someone there had a bad attitude? Then, rather than just talk to the manager (Jimmy) you would get on here and trash his business. Happens all the time. I can picture all of you coming in with your pinched-nose faces and treating the severs like they are your hired help. Get over yourselves and try smiling once in awhile. You might be surprised how employees react to you more positively.

The fact remains that rib country is not the best at any of the basic requirements to be called a decent restaurants. There food is just OK, there service is subpar, I total understand that servers have a thankless job some of the time. The problem is that the complaint on this forum is predominantly service, maybe if the management or owner would take the time in there own establishment to fix these problems then this would be a different conversation (but it's not). If the server is not making the money then I would suggest 1find another job or 2 change your attitude towards your customer. There called tips, based on your services provided not a guarantee.

People expect to stand in line at Jim's and know that when they go there. We expect that the place will be crowded and parking might be an issue, but we go anyway and enjoy ourselves. The owners make it a place that is welcoming without the negative elements that exist at Rib Country. Yep, it is soooo good they run out of food.

We know that we will have to wait at many restaurants, but the service and people running the restaurants are gracious to their customers and it is a welcoming place with good food.

I've never been in any of the more popular places where they start cleaning up before diners are gone.

A friend twisted my arm to go to Rib County last year. We went early enough, but it didn't matter. The mop buckets, spray bottles were brought out while there were many diners and the "servers" started stacking chairs. We didn't finish our meal and left without tipping because we couldn't get our waitress to wait on us; she was too busy preparing to go home.

Rib Country is horrible and wouldn't survive if it wasn't for visitors and tourists.

I think this is what happens when you let your customs be the quality control for your company. The owner should get a hold of his business get his hands dirty and see what happens in his establishment. it should not be up to the consumer to maintain a quality control level in his business.

I think this person has it all wrong. We the customer go out to a restaurant to eat and be served, not to pick up the staff,its there job to make it the best experience they can. I find it funny that when I spend my money to lunch or dinner that now I have to make the waitress fell better so she will perform her job. I have eaten at rib country and there staff has gone way down.
