The 43rd Sorghum Festival begins this Saturday in Meeks Park at 9:00 a.m. Tommy Townsend and the Waymore's Outlaws will make a grand entrance in the two-mule wagon that Townsend's granddaddy Mimm used to haul illegal moonshine back in the day.

Saw the parade and went to the festival. A great event.

Beautiful park, great food, terrific entertainment, lots of friendly people, and funnel cakes with no calories.
