go take a look a those salaries for yourself.. they are among the highest paid.I questioned that in another county that continues to increase school taxes that elderly cant pay.. one has 14 coaches with a combined salary of 1.8 million annual..
Has only ONE high school...
I would be interested in knowing what the combined salaries of Union County's coaches would be. Does anyone know? I would look them up on the salary site, but I do not know all of their names.

Why does the Board of Education finance more coaches per player, than teachers per student?

Wake up. This is a rural, all-white, small school in north Georgia. These boys are not going to the NFL... no matter how many coaches, no matter how much astro turf, no matter how high tech the weight training room.

You should do a little more research on Georgia Teachers salaries. It's the years experience with the state of GA, the level of education one has that determines salary base. BA has a 6 year degree, which is the next level under a PHD plus nearly 20 years experience. That's where the salary is and if you knew what you were talking about its not the coaching pay!! Check out others with the same pay and experience.

An associate degree is two years, a bachelor degree is four years, a masters degree is five years, a doctorate is six years.
So what is a non-doctorate 'six year degree' BA has that you spoke of?

A six year degree is a Specialist degree. I think a Doctorate is usually considered a seven year degree.

SO LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT. ACCORDING TO GEORGIAS TEACHER PAY SCALE AN EMPLOYEE WITH A SPECIALIST DEGREE AND 20 YEARS EXPERIENCE SHOULD MAKE $63,440.00 AND ACCORDING TO A PREVIOUS POST BA MAKES $85,025.00 IT STILL DOESN'T ADD UP.

This goes to show that "The People" have put their trust in the government way too long. Those that still believe that teachers are among the lowest paid have not had a reality check since the 1980's. Get your heads out of the sand..

at this price, shouldn't we be able to let these boys stomp Buford, before signing with the NFL?
