Assbite. I don't own a business. I like to shop. So, I spend my time and money in Blue Ridge. Has been keeping me happy for years.
Hey, peeps, no one is going to vote these elected officals out of office when they make improvements. I might remind you how well that game worked for the misfits to get Lamar out of office.
People like improvements in their community.
Suck it up. It is happening. Like it or not.
They sure do like improvements to their community. When is the Mayor and council going to start doing those improvements? Looks to me like the only thing they are doing is screwing up the square. Only thing they are interested in is the Airport and the square. Took anyone's property lately?

I think it will look nice when finished. But right now it's a pain to drive in town.

How much longer will this last? You almost need four wheel drive to make it around the square!

When you go vote for mayor this year you can cross that strip of gravel where you almost bust your tires. Remember who brought you this.

Boy that is a good idea. Just plow up the streets and tell everyone to slow down. Now that really took a lot of thought.

You don't slow down in a area clearly marked as a construction area and you damage your car no one to blame but yourself.

Have you ever seen a city, county or state dig up the pavement on a street and leave it that way for over two months without trying to do any repair to it. Why not dig it up when you get ready to complete the work. Simple fact is we have simple minded people running Blairsville.

Ya'll don't get it. It's the newest concept in urban traffic control. It's called "Natural Speed Bumps." It was planned to look unfinished, really. Yeah, that's it.....

I think the finished project will be a major improvement.

Do TOPIX people do anything but bitch about everything? Oh, wait, I know that answer. NO, that's all your simple minds are capable of doing.

Rome wasn't built in a day. The work is not causing any difficulty getting around the square. There are other ways to avoid it if you use your brain.

You may be right about one thing. The good people of Blairsville couldn't be very smart. Look at the idiots they elected to run their town.

Noticed the contractors are from out of town. When attempting to talk to one of the workers, quickly realized he didn't speak english. Wondering why local contractors didn't get the work
At the risk of sounding like racial profiler, I wonder if these workers are even here in the USA legally ?

neither can the rest of the county. As for looking awesome I guess a pile of crap looks good to some people. What is so great about brick sidewalks when a half million was wasted on it.

You need to see it today. It's pouring down rain and they have traffic at a standstill while they try to work in the rain. Even the DOT will not let a contractor work in the rain to cause accidents. This is downright crazy.

Must have been your first time in Blairsville. Make sure you spend a little money while you are here. We need all the help we can get. We are in debt up to our eyeballs.
