The Georgia Mountain Passion Play is wonderful. If you have never been, you will be amazed at how a group of regular people can get together and take you back in time to when Jesus was alive and walking on earth. It absolutely feels like you are there.
I have been for the last few years and plan to go again this year. You really do not want to miss this presentation.

Terry Hooper and the choir and cast do a splendid job.

Just got back from the Georgia Mountain Passion Play. This is the best one yet. The house was packed and the message was wonderful. The cast and choir was outstanding and the heaven scene was "out of this world".

This is a program that you do not want to miss. I enjoyed it so much that I plan to go back again tomorrow. I believe it is at 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm tomorrow.

I went to the Passion Play several years ago. That's when I decided to never return to FBC. My boyfriend (now husband) had to go to the restroom in the middle of the play.. it was almost 3 hours long, afterall. After 10 or 15 minutes, I began wondering where it was & decided to check on him. He was standing outside the door because the usher (who was literally pulling on the door to keep it shut) wouldn't allow him back in the sanctuary. Why? The usher said it would let in too much light.

How dare they think they have the right to keep someone out of God's house. That usher had no way of knowing if my husband had ever really had the word presented to him so clearly. My husband could have been unsaved.

BTW, I used to be a member of FBC.. I have nothing against "big" churches.

Jesus did not make a big sacrifice, he knew he was gonna be resurrected.

Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice! Yes he knew he was going to be resurrected but he went through tremendous pain and agony before he died , he did not have to do any of this, but he did so willingly....and these people are not being morbid, they are just trying to emphasize what Jesus went through in order for us to be saved from an eternal hell, so that it might help the lost to come to repentance

I love the Passion Play but can not sit for long periods at time, due to extreme pain, I wish they would shorten it some with a few less songs and just do more of the play, I really enjoyed it all but it really could be shorten just a bit, but it was beautiful and I did love it so much Thank you for all who participated.

Is this event over or will it be shown on more days? I think I would enjoy viewing it.

Once the editing is completed, it should be available on YouTube. Pastor Fred's sermons are already on YouTube.
