Personally, I find many nasty and disgusting and needless things said upon this site, but one of the most disturbing, maligned, and unnecessary of them all is to take the Name of my (our) Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in vain.
The Name of Jesus is sacred, and I would implore you not to use it with such disdain.
Jesus H. Christ is The Lord? Maybe, he's an illegal who does gardening or a rock singer.:)

What part of the post didn't you get? The person knows Mason. Mourning? The person doesn't like Mason and didn't say a word about Stevens. The Tea Party and Republican party in Union is made up of 90% old retirees. Like the new sheriff all you want, but not all people do. Remember that Mason won by only 500-some votes. Lord's name in vain. No biggie because not all people are Christians. What do you know is right? On topix people either agree with the mainstream or they are wrong? Now, that's real Christian of you.
Dumb voters don't know old people make up the majority of the voters in Union county, and they vote! Get over it losers.

My posting made no effort to ďsetĒ or impose any rules. Youíre being rather disingenuous.

Whether one is a Christian or atheist the request of appropriate language is valid in its very nature.

I simply made a statement, within which I asked (implored = appealed) for a common decency, civility, and refrain from sacrilege. Does anyone, in truth, believe such malicious language is proper, noble, or necessary?

You go by the post name citizen; by definition a good citizen would favor apposite and principled behavior and conduct would they not?

I guess Iíve said all I can say. I suppose we all like to think even the most dissolute among us must surely harbor somewhere within them some good. But, maybe not.

The Lord warns us regarding the use of sacrilege, mockery and blaspheming. We are given choices to believe or not. I choose to believe and Salvation. Others choose not.

My place isnít to force anything upon anyone. Iím given the freedom to make my choices and so is each and every other individual.

Nevertheless, staying within the perimeters of my Christian faith; I continue to pray for those who I see as hurtling toward self-destruction, and potential eternal damnation.

Were you born this pompous or was it acquired thru a lifetime?

Yep, I was born Ė and that is opposed to crawling out from beneath a rock as some, maybe you Ė so in that regard thanks for the compliment as to my origin.

And yes I am most certainly opinionated. Having indeed spent a lifetime directing any God given abilities, I may have been given, contributing to those things I consider positive, and in the best interest of my God, Family, and Nation.

You should try it. Itís far better than the path you seem to have chosen, you know of negativity, deceit, assuming or confusing identities and the like.

Don't you have anything useful to talk about? Otherwise we are just wasting everyone's time, and your future distractions need be ignored.

Why do you have to use so many words? I can call you an ass and everyone gets the point. Short and sweet. Must you pontificate?

I now understand what the NRA and the Tea Party have been saying. This is the spark that might ignite a nation.

So, coming into your home seems over the top, but pissing in a cup for every reason under the sun narry a peep. But of course pissing is voluntary and not coercive at all.
