new basketball coaches at the high school

i hear that the highschool is letting people that arent teachers be coaches. kevin hughes is gonna be the boys coach and some hemphill girl is the girls coach. the boys team should be really awesome this year.

They are raising our property taxes so that they can have funds to hire more coaches and give raises to the administration.

Why do they need these coaches now? Why weren't they hired at the beginning of the year? Does Kevin Hughes have a degree?

No, Hughes doesn't have a teaching degree that I know of, or any degree.

i know that the two coaches may not have a degree but they are having to pay $350 out their pockets to take a class n the school is paying them $250 to coach. Im taking it has they are two ppl that love coaching n like to see our basketball program improve at a young level to get ready for high school. they are not two strangers pulled off the street to coach they are alumni and will do a great job. good luck Kevin Hughes n Jana Hepmhill

of course there will be jealous people out there who think they can do better than these two at being coaches. i dont know too much about hemphill but kevin is an awesome coach and will be a good addition to the sport. as for the "silver spoons comment" you couldnt be more wrong.

I saw a Hughes man in the arrest reports this week for DUI. Is this the same guy or a relative of this guy?

Kevin Hughes is a class act. He has great knowledge of the game and will be a wonderful addition to the coaching staff. He has a way of getting through to the kids allowing them to have fun while they are learning. I know he has givin countless hours of his own time getting the boys prepared already this year.

just like some loser to try and get a rumor started asking about an arrest. my goodness have you no sense? you gotta be in good standing to get with the school. and yes kevin has had a few practices to help with fundamentals and strengh. he will be excellent maybe he will boot hunter from the highschool.

hughes and hemphill will be lay coaches. please remember thet do not get paid for this work. these two coaches will be coaching, middle school boys and girls. before anyone makes a comment, check out the facts with the board of education.

You have to be in good standing to get with the school?? Obviously you don't know much about the other teachers and the things they do. There is an employee/teacher with a DUI, and the superintendent that got caught messing around at school, etc. etc.
