When you must raise taxes for necessities seems like you are a poor planner or a big spender or both. Term limits.........

Totally agree. Our Commissioner delights in being a tax and spend Democrat. We need a fiscally conservative Commissioner.

I'm with you completely. But if we don't agree with everything he says or does we are labeled "misfits".

Lamar has no problem raising your property taxes as long as he can cheat on his own.

Hey Lamar, did you pay back taxes on all the property you cheated on for over 20 years?

So, do you think it's time for a 3 member commission? Instead of a dictator!

Nope... for what "lying Lamar" has raised his salary to be in 10+ years (over 100k), replacing him with three honest, "normal rate" members wouldn't be all that much of an increase.

We can get a lot of budget cuts by getting rid of Larry Garrett and his 80,000 salary and living off the county.

We can get rid of the DA $150,000 for doing nothing to help the community.

We can get rid of some unnecessary jobs to people who were given salaries just because......

We can increase the budget by getting bids on jobs instead of giving out favors to friends

There is so many ways to clean up the waste that is going on in Union County

Nope. Also, the increase in transparency would be very beneficial. Much less behind the doors, under the table, dealings and much, much more open meetings.

The difference between a democracy and a dictatorship is that in a democracy you vote first and take orders later; in a dictatorship you don't have to waste your time voting.

Charles Bukowski

Either way we have Lamar.
