He is the sorriest commissioner we have ever had,is good enough reason! huge tax increases is another, permits and inspection fees is still another reason, worthless splost projects is the best reason not to vote for him.....We have a great need for Charles Rich.

But wait! As Amos said - The headlines splashed across the NGN said Lamar lowered the millage rate! That makes him a great commissioner!

Never mind it's only a few pennies....

What a dirty buy more votes election trick. Lamar is slime and it's time for him to go. Spread the word!

Your post makes no sense. Am I wrong? Is it more than a few pennies? Did I get the calculations wrong?

A smal cut in millage DOES NOT mean your property tax bill will go down!

But look at the great headlines he got! If the NGN was a real newspaper they might have reported that info.

Wrong. If the valuation of your property stays the same as the previous year and the millage rate goes down - even by a very small percent - your tax bill will go down. Maybe not much, but it will. But you're really not about telling the truth, are you?

Did anyone say that the property would stay the same as a qualification?

No they did not. And let's see. My property is currently valued at $273,000. If it stays that way I save what? About $2.40? Barely pays for coffee at a few restaurants here in town.

I believe I pointed out that your taxes wouldn't do down by much, but they will indeed go down. We all know that Paris did this just so he could say he reduced taxes... he is a politician.

You are correct. And you pointing that out restores a bit of hope that you at least might understand why some people on here are pointing out deceptions, whether slick political tricks or blatant lies.

Nearly one thousand reasons on here to NOT vote for Lamar Paris . Almost as many as number of signs he pays to have put up in some yards of those not voting for him . Lamar Paris is disgusting !!!
