Before we send for the full canvas jacket for MOVO, let's look at the cytokine storm.
Most influenza outbreaks disproportionately kill juvenile, elderly, or already weakened patients; in contrast the 1918 pandemic killed predominantly previously healthy young adults. Modern research, using virus taken from the bodies of frozen victims, has concluded that the virus kills through a cytokine storm (overreaction of the body's immune system).
Perfect cytokine storm
h7n9 spread from humans to humans of biblical-pandemic proportions would require a mutation of h7n9 according to
Prophets of doom would say this is a ploy to prevent mass hysteria, but for now I don't think I will stop my granddaughter at the door, unless she is dressed as big bird. So, no reason to panic for now. Now, she if she showed up at my door as a zombie, there might reason for eminent danger, but the zombie apocalypse would really peg the kookometer.

You can prepare for an influenza pandemic now. You should know both the magnitude of what can happen during a pandemic outbreak and what actions you can take to help lessen the impact of an influenza pandemic on you and your family. This checklist will help you gather the information and resources you may need in case of a flu pandemic.
Plan for a Pandemic
Store a two week supply of water and food. During a pandemic, if you cannot get to a store, or if stores are out of supplies, it will be important for you to have extra supplies on hand. This can be useful in other types of emergencies, such as power outages and disasters.
Periodically check your regular prescription drugs to ensure a continuous supply in your home.
Have any nonprescription drugs and other health supplies on hand, including pain relievers, stomach remedies, cough and cold medicines, fluids with electrolytes, and vitamins.
Talk with family members and loved ones about how they would be cared for if they got sick, or what will be needed to care for them in your home.
Volunteer with local groups to prepare and assist with emergency response.
Get involved in your community as it works to prepare for an influenza pandemic.
Limit the Spread of Germs and Prevent Infection
Avoid close contact with people who are sick. When you are sick, keep your distance from others to protect them from getting sick too.
If possible, stay home from work, school, and errands when you are sick. You will help prevent others from catching your illness.
Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing. It may prevent those around you from getting sick.
Washing your hands often will help protect you from germs.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs are often spread when a person touches something that is contaminated with germs and then touches his or her eyes, nose, or mouth.
Practice other good health habits. Get plenty of sleep, be physically active, manage your stress, drink plenty of fluids, and eat nutritious food.

Vitamin D3, Masks, Resveratol, Garlic and other items will be out of stock within days of this becoming a regular new media report.
Rumours are that the H7N9 & Corona Virus are already in Europe. China is arresting bloggers and media tha report on the disease. Pediatric wards in China hospitals are rumored to be overflowing.
SARS originated in China and was the precursor to current Ncov coronavirus coming out of the Middle East. With SARS, Chinese Health Officials reported for over a month that it was not yet Human to Human transmissable, well after they knew for a fact that it was. It escaped China, via one airplane passenger to Toronto. They managed to contain in back then - but not before an entire hospital was quarantined and doctors, nurses and patients died in great numbers.
This sparked brief nursing strikes as well. Both of these H7N9 & Ncov diseases look like they are spreading in human clusters, and WHO & CDC officials are on high alert. It is troubling development. Neither has a vaccine. Both look like they could kill between 20%- 50% of people that get infected. Those that don't die still get very sick and often need hospitalization, and suffer permanent degradation of lung function. So great were health complications in survivors of the Spanish Flu of 1918 - the general population average life expectancy rate dropped substantially.
It would be foolish at this point to assume that this is not already spreading quickly. WHO, CDC & China all have a history of under reporting facts.

Bird Flu is the worst

Bird Flew reminds me of the Ono Bird, a bird here in the mountains with a pair of boys that hang down two feet and two 1-inch legs. When it lands, it shouts: Oh No! Oh No! Oh No! Tweet that.

On the subject of birds
Cooking up a couple of nice chicken breasts for dinner and thought:
Now why such nice breasts on a chicken and no nipples?
Well I think when God was designing chickens he first had nipples on them and the little chicks had lips to nurse with
Since chicks would need beaks to get out of an egg he had them born live and they would all come around momma chicken and nurse happily.
Well God thought to himself "I think I will go back and make them born in an egg so people can have something to eat with their bacon in the morning". Then so they could get out of the egg if we didn't eat them first he put beaks on the chicks; and we all know you can't suck a boob with a beak so now there wasn't any use for the nipples anymore so he took them back off.
Soooo...little chicks don't get to nurse on their mommas just so you can have bacon and eggs in the morning.

NEW YORK (AP)— A deadly new respiratory virus related to SARS has apparently spread from patients to health care workers in eastern Saudi Arabia, health officials said Wednesday.
The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia told world health officials that two health care workers became ill this month after being exposed to patients with the virus. One is critically ill.
Since September 2012, the World Health Organization has been informed of 40 confirmed cases of the virus, and 20 of the patients have died. The deaths occurred in Britain, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan.
Experts have suggested calling the new virus MERS, for Middle East Respiratory Syndrome, but officials have not signed off on that yet.
Experts are watching carefully for signs that the deadly virus can spread from person-to-person. Health officials say the virus has likely already spread between people in some circumstances, including hospital patients in France.
The new virus has caused severe respiratory disease in patients, some of them needing mechanical ventilators to help them breathe.
One of the Saudi health care workers is a 45-year-old man who is in critical condition. The other is a 43-year-old woman in stable condition. No other details about their jobs or where they work were released. Health workers were previously infected in a cluster in Jordan, though that was before the new coronavirus had been identified and before any special measures were taken to prevent its spread. That is not the case in Saudi Arabia and officials worry any new spread to health workers could suggest the virus is becoming more transmissible to people.
The new virus has been compared to SARS, an unusual pneumonia that first surfaced in China in late 2002 and erupted into a deadly international outbreak in early 2003. Spread of the virus in hospitals was a key development in the epidemic.
Ultimately, more than 8,000 cases were reported in about 30 countries, including eight people in the United States. The global tally included 774 deaths.
The SARS outbreak was declared contained by the summer of 2003, thanks to such measures as quarantines, hospital isolation of suspected cases, travel restrictions and the screening of airline passengers.
The WHO is currently not recommending any travel restrictions or special screening at airports or border crossings. Officials worry it will flare into an outbreak as big or worse. The new virus and SARS are both coronaviruses, a germ family that includes some cold viruses.
The new virus is distinct from SARS, but health officials worry it has potential to flare into a SARS-like international outbreak. But many questions remain about how it is spread, where it originated, and how deadly it truly is.

Now remember Meddie, you were given powerful pain medication and a muscle relaxer, so don't operate heavy machinery, and try not to choke on your own drool.
