3 1/2 Weeks we should have a day of reckoning. Im sure competent interviews will be doing for existing and possible new hires. Some bad apples just need a gentle nudge to move on out. Atlanta is hiring....

Don't think the bad apples are worried about being nudged out. More like worried about being prosecuted.

I hear 'they' are looking for misplaced evidence items.

I hope that all the talk of grand juries and depositions from deputies about fraud and such is followed through. Maybe Langley will be more receptive?

Probably the same Ahole doing 70 on 129 the other day and then slammed on brakes and turned into Hushes without using a turn signal.
Just an a-hole.

First thing that should be done is the window tint should be removed, that will put an end to them driving around with the broads on drugs exchanging favors, so they don't go to jail.

You keep hoping for the "competent interviews"...who has been doing the background checks and "interviews" for the new incoming staff?

<quoted text>
2013 brings a new Sheriff. Most people are not aware just how much power a Sheriff is capable of wielding. A good Sheriff that wanted to could really stir up a town and make a huge dent in cleaning things up - EVEN if he has a corrupt and worthless, look-the-other-way district attorney as a counterpart.

IF the Sheriff takes an active and aggressive stance, he can put a lot of pressure on the district attorney's office to DO THEIR JOB.

I think this is what to watch in early 2013... whether the sheriff takes a lead role, or whether he is submissive to the D.A. It is my hope that the new Sheriff sends enough signals that the D.A. gets off his a$$. Unfortunately I think the Sheriff will have to carry the ball though.

Watching. Waiting to see how the early days play out. My guess is that patience to see some action will be shorter than usual.

People need to start lining up complaints, putting pressure. Print flyers. Take it to the streets. Put it on posts. Send it in emails. Help guide and support your Sheriff.
