The Blairsville justice system protects men. Women petition the courts seeking protection but are denied the help! I personally encountered in the superior court my own disappointment where in 2012 I went to the local police with pictures, eyewitnesses and a warrant was issue for my ex husband for stalking . Later in the courts I was held in contempt per my divorce order for not petitioning the court for a "show of cause" hearing. 1 witness worked for 911.

Victim 2013. That all depends on the Judge and who you know. There is only one in right now that MIGHT do the right thing.

I have experienced the courts granting TPO's WITHOUT Due process however you have to be an employee of the judicial system to get one granted. and They then all perjury themselves..Civil rights case being drawn up as we speak. Those that truly need a TPO can forget it. If its not warranted or you are one of their staff it will be granted without due process or any type evidence or proof. But this one will eventually cost them..

What does this have to do with TPO's, what am I missing? I have not heard that his daughter or grandson had a TPO against him or that the judges had wronged the family.

I am Frank R. Miller's oldest grandchild. Glory be to God that today, friday, Feburary 18, my Grampy was filally freed. after what i was dealt a dose of "Blairsville justice", it left my family doubting me and wondering what i had done. with this HUGE injustice happening to my 78 year old grandpa.... now they know what i was saying. Blairsville has always been home to me. i have four children that were born and raised in Blairsville. i was instructed to plead guilty to a crime i did't commit because "i was in the Bible belt" of the south, i was told by a court appointed attorney. here i sit, away from my home and everyone and everything i knew...and yes, my children too because they decided to make an example out of ME. I'm now considered a convicted felon and prior to that had only a speeding ticket or two. florida says it's UNCONSTITUTIONAL to ban any american from anywhere in the United States. when i called Blairsville to discuss it, i was told, "It's not unconstitutional in Blairsville." go figure!

Bill,

Im sad to hear this happened to you and your family. This is so the "norm" for this entire circuit. I have a tape from our chief Public Defender in this circuit stating the same. He states that the US Constitution means absolutely nothing and that there is NO BILL OF RIGHTs. He goes on to say that 70% of those jailed in this circuit are innocent. He states that its been going on about 15 years and is gradually getting worse. The malicious prosecution, violation of civil rights, Perjury by those appointed and elected, Prosecutorial Misconduct I could go on an on.

There is a group working very hard to clean up this circuit so that the citizens in this circuit see Justice. The statements made by these officials proves their intent.

God bless.

Bill, Please keep fighting. You will one day see justice. You have access now to more so please take advantage of all. This has happened to many in this circuit and and ruined many families. One day the corrupt will see JUSTICE.

Bill didn't write that, it is a copy and paste of from a thread about Frank Miller. There were no TPO, there is not conspiracy theory here, stop high jacking every thread for your own agenda. This man was jailed for not paying court ordered alimony. He was released after an agreement was made. What does this TPO crap and the DA putting innocent people in jail have to do with anything. Sounds like Frank Miller is guilty, sound like his daughter should have let him sit in jail.

JUDY SPIVA is guilty for stealing county money. The DA's decided to cover it up. How is that for justice in Union County.

It all depends on who you are. That is why Mountain Voice is not going to drop his investigation.

She did the crime , Why not the time?

Who else was involved?

Former officer accused of shooting, killing daughter in Union Co. standoff
By Staff

BLAIRSVILLE - Charges are pending against a former Florida police officer who is believed to have shot and killed his daughter in northeast Georgia Sunday morning.

A report in the Atlanta Journal Constitution said 80-year-old Frank Raymond Miller was arrested after a SWAT standoff with Union County and Fannin County authorities.

The shootings are believed to have happened just after 1 a.m. Sunday.

Union County Sheriff Mack Mason told the newspaper that when the three-hour standoff ended, Miller's 59-year-old daughter was found dead inside the home. Miller is also believed to have shot his great-grandson in the leg.

This story will be updated.

I see a connection with two superior court judges being snatched off the bench for mishandling other cases. Did Judge Barrett tell Mr. miller he should shoot his family, like he told one woman in his court to shoot her lawyer? I see corruption and misuse of the DA office and judges chambers tied directly to this man mental condition.

I know more sheriffs and deputy sheriffs who have gone or going to federal jail and state jail than I do local citizens.
We have a real problem here with our elected officials.

Also there was a sole commissioner in Towns county who went to jail for taking bribes. I think it was about $600 on a paving contract.

Between Towns county and Union county we have more living officials who went to prison than living officials who were not jailed? Yet?

One ex Union county sheriff went to work as a jailer in Towns county and wound up in jail by crimes he committed in Towns county jail!

Shall we start talking about elected state officials families next. There is a story there that never made the North Georgia News.

The newspapers never wrote about this stuff did they Norman?
BTW--How is all of this not reporting or slanting the news for theses folks ( friends.....) working for you now?

While it is hard to see when pulling a gun would make a point of any kind for Judge Barrett, to do so with a woman testifying on a temporary protective order in a domestic abuse case could not be a worse time. It certainly took attention away from the anger issues of Scott Sugarman, a former Hall County sheriff’s deputy, who is also charged with rape and aggravated assault with a handgun. So you have a former deputy accused of assault with a handgun and a judge who whips out his gun to make a legal point.
