Welcome to the New Fascist America:
America respects all religions - as long as it's Fundamentalist Christians.
Why, it's almost as if those damn Muslims think they can be Americans too.
Here's another worthless Allah worshipping towel heads we Right Winger got no use for:
Michael Monsoor
Died September 29, 2006 (aged 25)
Ramadi, Al Anbar Governorate, Iraq
Service/branch United States Navy
Years of service 2001–2006
Battles/wars Iraq War
Awards Medal of Honor
Silver Star Medal
Bronze Star Medal (Valor)[n 1]
Purple Heart
Combat Action Ribbon
Michael Anthony Monsoor (April 5, 1981 – September 29, 2006) was a United States Navy SEAL who was killed during the Iraq War and posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor.
Monsoor enlisted in the United States Navy in 2001 and graduated from Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training in 2004.
Delta Platoon was sent to Iraq in April 2006 and assigned to train Iraqi Army soldiers in Ramadi.
On September 29, 2006 an insurgent threw a grenade onto a rooftop where Monsoor and several other SEAL and Iraqi soldiers were positioned.
Monsoor quickly smothered the grenade with his body, absorbing the resulting explosion and saving his comrades from serious injury or death.
Monsoor died about 30 minutes later from serious wounds caused by the grenade explosion.
On March 31, 2008, the United States Department of Defense confirmed that Michael Monsoor would posthumously receive the Medal of Honor.
Yep - we Right Wing Wackos get to decide who is a true 'Merican, and who is one if them pretend 'Mericans who worship that Allah fellow instead of the Jesus guy (who we really don't like so much cause He was a socialist commie "Libtard").
Good post! You can always tell if you have done well by all the insulting judging icons on top of your post.

...Now can we PLEASE get off the subject of Bible authorship. This is a political thread. It is interesting how it continues to be those on the Left who keep bringing up Jesus, not those of us on the Right - we just respond. And then once their arguments about "Jesus is a liberal." get shot down, suddenly we get posts about the unreliability of the Bible.

I really don't care what you believe about this, please don't respond with another cut and paste job about the same thing. You think whatever you want to. Let's get back to the political - we have hijacked this thread enough with the topic of the Bible.
How interesting that you wish to divorce religion from politics, until the time comes when you need it for a jab to punch up a point, then you can simply declare your point of view true anad end the discussion..

Yes, the PBS series clearly stated that it was a controversial presentation, thank you for substaniating that point.

Do chickens have butts?_ I've never seen a chicken butt so do they have one?
Answer
All birds have a cloaca - a single opening through which they excrete, mate and lay eggs. You can call it a butt if you want, but it isn't exclusively for solid waste like a human anus is, it's for everything, even posting on Topix forum.
Congratulations, I do believe you have identified the source of global warming, all the methane the poster produces.

I have appreciated your posts on this, thanks. The agenda behind the man made global warming - oops, sorry - now it's "man made global climate change" push is so obvious, but no matter the evidence to the contrary, its devotees will not waver.

And regarding your absolutely spot on comments about the willingness of the less ethical to fraudulently skew data or even make it up for the purposes of notoriety or grants, the following is a link to an article about a Dutch psychologist who admitted last year to completely making up the data for which he received both renown, but more importantly grant money. He denies that his intent was selfish,(right) but it is probable that like many of the man made climate change adherents, his conclusion was the important thing - if data had to be skewed (or outright created) so be it, the greater good must be upheld.

Holy Foggy Mirror Batman,
let's wipe it a bit and see what it reveals....

A Dutch psychologist exhibits a well known human behavioral trait, lying for personal gain, so natrually this proves that all things touched by human hands become suspect...

Except,

that one thing that stands above human intervention because of its inerrancy and infallibilty.

OOOps, did I just bring religion back into a political discussion.

"It's well known that plants can help mitigate global warming, by absorbing carbon dioxide and trapping it, via photosynthesis, in things like leaves, stalks, and branches.

But it turns out that plants help cool the planet in another way, by releasing tiny particles into the atmosphere that help reflect sunlight back into space.

Yes, it's true: Plants pass gas. A new study published in the journal Nature Geoscience found that vapors emitted by plants scatter and absorb radiation from the sun, and that they help form cloud droplets that also reflect the sun's rays."

Plants pass gas to alleviate the gas libtards pass.

I invite you to find any post of mine that mentioned religion that was not a response to something insulting you on the Left brought up. Nope, it is you on the Left who keep bringing Jesus into the argument by trying to claim:
Jesus was a Liberal.
Or that we on the Right are not following the Bible we "cling" to because we want to starve children and/or the elderly. Or other completely unfounded statements.
Then when we on the Right show how fallacious your statements are, or show how Jesus called for personal accountability in helping the poor, not for a government entity to reach into the pockets of OTHERS in order to, not so much help people, but rather to enslave them into a life of dependency, we suddenly start getting the posts that question the authority or accuracy of the Bible.
Then we get the "cut and paste" jobs from a tv show that featured academicians all of a liberal bent when it comes to the New Testament. Had the show had any interest in being intellectually honest, it would have included a few scholars who could refute the claims made - but nope, not when there is an agenda at work. And we all know how much Jesus would support killing a child instead of allowing it to be born. By the way, been following the trial of Kermit Gosnell? Now there is a hero of the Left for you.

And I said let's get this back to politics, but you feel the need to TRY and be clever by bringing up 2010 - sorry it is so hard for you to understand how a political thread could be sustained long after the election it was initially discussing is over. Guess your attention span is too limited.

How about them Democraps......

"Several House Democrats are calling on Congress to recognize that climate change is hurting women more than men, and could even drive poor women to "transactional sex" for survival. The resolution, from Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.) and a dozen other Democrats, says the results of climate change include drought and reduced agricultural output. It says these changes can be particularly harmful for women. "[F]ood insecure women with limited socioeconomic resources may be vulnerable to situations such as sex work, transactional sex, and early marriage that put them at risk for HIV, STIs, unplanned pregnancy, and poor reproductive health,"

Wow-Chickens and his littles are working overtime with the scare tactics.

Cant wait to see what the next screwball idea will be.

That wasn't hyperbole. You point got shot down by good old fashioned logic and common sense.
I can only wish your posts displayed logic and common sense. BigDave1 mentions working at a university and seeing firsthand how some researchers will do whatever it takes to get the grant money. He did not say all did, but he did say all could potentially be swayed by the money. After all, that is what you and those on here of your mindset keep saying about the researchers who dispute the claims of the climate alarmists. You claim they are on the dole of oil companies, etc. You then immediately jump to accusing him of denying all science.
I comment on his post and give an example of EXACTLY what he was talking about - a Danish "researcher" who completely made up his data in order to get grant money , and here you come again claiming I am saying all science or all science I don't like is a fraud. Nope, just showing that claims made in the name of science are sometimes made in order to support an agenda, not true science. Just as that Danish psychologist had his conclusion ready to go and made up data to support it, there are plenty of climate "scientists" who are following the same playbook. Just as you are claiming that climate change skeptic scientists are cooking their data. Guess there is science you don't like either.

Please- Did anyone really think that Bush and the Right Wing,
whose No. 1 priority on 09/11 was to provide fighter jets to escort their friends and business partners, the bin Ladens, to safety outside the jurisdiction of United States,
actually ever intended to find and kill a member of the family who provides them and their oil company buddies,
millions and millions and millions of dollars in profit, salary, bonuses, grants, and "contributions".
Can anyone imagine Bush/Cheney giving a damn about justice, or ever placing the country's needs ahead of personal profit ?
