So based on the latest news, people who have received notice that their insurance companies are canceling their policies outnumber those who have actually enrolled in Obamacare by 10-1.
But, but Obama promised we could keep our policies if we liked them, Obama promised we could keep our doctor if we wanted, Obama promised our health care costs would go down, but.......but.........but.
Seems like there were a whole lot of us on the Right who warned that exactly this would happen - surprise, surprise.
The lies obama told and for which he will never be asked for an accounting of are more than we'll ever be able to list here. We are after all limited to the number of characters contained in a post.
Funny isn't it that obama suddenly likes the term "surge". This is another calculated use of a term tied to successful military action to which he was violently opposed until he could co-opt it.
Ever really study closely how the crisis creator in chief is constantly finding a way to change the subject? The progressives that post here are the same way, keep changing the subject and maybe no one will notice how intellectually bankrupt and deceitful they really are.
The "government shut down" so called had to be turned into something far more horrid by the progressives for two reasons that I can think of:
1. The shut down- actually slowdown proved that fully 17% of the government could be done away with today and nobody would really miss it.
2. By falsely claiming that the US would default on it's commitments (which by law can not be done) the argument gets changed and the real evil and failure of the government take-over of the health insurance business will not be the focus of attention.
obama's administration continues to deliberately do things to hamper recovery from the last recession, but we won't see that or hear about it because the shut down is the new Bush.

Maybe that's what you saw from your perspective. Quite a few people saw devastating effects from the government shutdown. I don't even need to get into it. Just google "effects of government shutdown".

Just another shallow conspiracy theory with no substance. The markets and foreign governments certainly thought it was possible for the US to default on those debts. Just the looming possibility that the Republican party would possibly let that happen has affected America with long-term consequences in faith in our currency and commitments to pay our debts.

Coming from somebody who supports the Republican obstructionists? During this entire recession which started at the end of the Bush administration - the only thing we've seen from our Republicans in congress is repeated attempts to kill off the Affordable Care Act - to the point of irresponsibility and ridiculousness, and attempts to loosen Coal pollution restrictions and pass the XL pipeline for their Big Energy puppet-masters. There's been not ONE concerted effort on their part to make lives better for the American middle-class.

Amazing - you guys have a world-view that has no basis in reality whatsoever. It would be funny - except for the fact that you have a vote.

Let's examine this for a moment, shall we?

First of all your link is from breitbart.com - that speaks for itself.

Second: Limbaugh. No need to say more.

Third: Let's look at the report itself. It concludes:
"If Obama had listened to Rush, the economy might have been in better shape." Or it might not have.

Fourth: Let's examine the source - the "NBER" - sounds official, doesn't it?

A December 1, 2002, news story in the New York Times [1] on the National Bureau of Economic Research, Inc., of Cambridge, MA, called the institution non-partisan but failed to identify a penny of the $10 million it receives in conservative philanthropic underwriting.

"Reporter David Leonhardt found time to report that the bureau, headed by Martin S. Feldstein, guru to Bush-economics, is the 'nation's premier economic research organization,' but couldn't do a simple Google search to determine where it gets its money.
"But reporter Leonhardt 'does' have some interesting things to say about Harvard University:

"Still, Ec10, as it is known at Harvard, is hardly neutral -- in its readings or its lectures -- and its point of view contributes a good deal to his importance. Over the last two decades, thousands of Harvard undergraduates have received a decidedly anti-tax, free-market-leaning introduction to economics.
"And there's this gem about Feldstein's partisanship and his crappy economic analysis,'driven' by partisanship:

"For his part, Mr. Feldstein has shown little taste since the 1980's for straying from the Republican Party line. In 1992, he predicted that the Clinton administration's tax increase would stifle economic growth and do little to erase the deficit...In 2001, when President Bush was forming his cabinet, Mr. Feldstein and his wife began a Boston Globe article by writing,'Paul O'Neill was an inspired choice for secretary of the Treasury.' Mr. Feldstein is also on the board of Eli Lilly, the pharmaceutical company with strong Republican ties.

"And the next time you hear someone refer to Feldstein as from Harvard, remember that, according to Feldstein,
"I have a Harvard office, but I hardly ever use it..."

Just lately I have seen at least 4 conservatives admit their mistakes openly and they are bigger people for it.
We all missed those admissions and apologies :

- Iraq,$6 Trillion Dollars, and 5,000 dead American troops later ?

- New Orleans, "Heck of a job "Brownie", the Kentucky horse trainer and part-time FEMA Director, who showed us how "limited government leads to dead Americans" ?

- RWW policies that took us for a budget surplus to a $1.4 Trillion Dollar annual budget deficit ?

- Deregulating the Banksters, and the destruction of the banking system and mortgage industry ?

- Cheney and "Scooter", exposing the identity of secret CIA officers resulting in the torture and deaths of CIA assets ?

- Tax Cuts for the Rich that added $2.5 Trillion Dollars to the national debt ?

- The Great Bush Recession, that so far has cost us $12.5 Trillion Dollars ?

-09/11, where RWWs were so busy sucking up to heir Saudi business partners and friends they allowed 3,000 Americans to be murdered, and $3 Trillion Dollars damage done ?

- The protection of, and/or failure to capture or kill bin Laden, the architect of the 09/11 attack ?

Help us out, and tell us when Right Wing Wackos acknowledges their insanity, incompetence, or avarice, and apologized for the inevitable disasters caused by their policies.

Here on Earth, two weeks ago, Right Wing Teapublican terrorists extorted and blackmailed America because they lost the democratic elections and wanted to terrorize America to try to get their way.

RWW terrorism cost us another $24 Billion Dollars.

Now, having spent years trying to prevent the successful launch of the Affordable Healthcare Act, RWWs are "outraged", they partially succeeded and demands the grown-ups explain why they let the RWWs partially succeeded.

It amusingly ironic- and insipidly stupid.

Kind of like the Boston Strangler demand an investigation into why the Boston cops let him kill those women.

In Right Wing World Bush didn't start three wars, explode the deficit, double the debt, and cost us over $18 Trillion Dollars for wars, tax cuts for the rich, and the Great Bush Recession.

Damn these silly facts.

Limbaugh is the better of anyone you can quote, especially your sorry self.

And the rest of your post is what??? An attack on a conservative point of view. And being I’m a conservative, I am to take your sorry point of corrupted view over another conservative. Just what in the hell kind of sick mind do you have, to think I would consider your liberal viewpoints over another conservative’s viewpoint?? Especially two as distinguished as Gerald Carlino and Robert P. Inman. You are like the little toy soldier, pointing his gun at someone who had not a thing to do with the war, and then go running home crying to mommy.
You either need a drink, a good nights sleep, or an enema.
I suggest the enema to flush out the bile Obama has instilled in you.

Also yall believe anything Obama says, he’s your God, your lifeline, and your whole bodies are saturated with Obamanese…

A new CBS report highlights the story of Natalie Willes, "one of the millions of Americans who already have private health insurance but whose policies do not comply with the Affordable Care Act."

Watch the video here.

"I was completely happy with the insurance I had before," Willes tells CBS. "Now I'm being forced to choose from a bunch of new plans that I don't want to choose from that are all more expensive."

The report shows a clip of President Obama saying at a rally in 2010 that "if you like your insurance plan, you will keep it."

Is it possible to characterize the president's promise as anything other than intentionally misleading?

OK, I looked up Libroid and found no meaning. Do elaborate please, as it would seem as you are the leader of the universe. Is "libroid" a skin condition? Ohhh wait... It's like saying liberals are like mindless droids. Oh it's funny because they are human as well, but they act as mindless drones wandering the earth aimlessly searching for a clue that the conservatives can't find either. Oh the comedy!
